Sup bitches,

I'm writing a paper on the Bosman Ruling and its impact on the emergence of a single football market.

Do you guys know any good sites, papers and such that are talking about it or something about the marketing in the post-Bosman era?

I found a few things, but hey, if you know something... shoot.

I'll post my paper here when I finish it.

Well, there are many known cases of players basically being bound to a club in the old days. Even when the contract was finished and not renewed, the transfer rights of a player still remained with the club, which created awkward situations.

Some people say the Bosman ruling made things worse since it's so much about money these days, but in my opinion it's a lot better than the semi-slave business it used to be.

Wait, now i see that you wrote POST-Bosman arrest. Don't you know pre? Figures old stuff is harder to come by. Anything on the post-bosman period, well..that's now.

Yeah, I found a lot of stuff, it's just that the precise thing I'm talking about, I didn't find it.

My class is "Responsible Marketing". So, I'll be writing about how teams are not ethically responsible anymore after the Bosman Ruling since it affected the contracts between players and clubs

It will be discussed through 3 major points
o Lack of homegrown players (Real, Chelsea, Man City),
o The main goal of the clubs is to make the most money, affecting the quality of football negatively
(Beckham to Real, Beckham to LA Galaxy, Ronaldo to Real)
o The emergence of a single market (EPL+La Liga+Serie A).
