Who's there?

Never heard about it until I clicked the link.

It seems like it could be anything, the possibility of it being a new species of something, doesn't seem likely.

The possibilities are endless, that's why it sucks. I've always been interested in reading things like this, the unknown and stuff, usually about the universe and solar systems tho, but regardless good find.

The possibilities arent really endless, and I think it being an undiscovered species is probably more believable than anything else.

As stated, it couldnt be a mad made machine, and no known creature could have made it, so therefore its either an unknown creature, or a non man made machine (although that theory is never mentioned on the wikipedia page, I just threw it in there).

There are millions of undiscovered species in the vast big ocean. Creatures that live under the harsh conditions of the deep blue sea are made for those conditions. High pressure, a certain temperature, streams and darkness. Such creatures aren't very likely to come up to the surface. It could be a huge whale even bigger than a blue whale. I actually buy that explanation.

I don't believe they should be so quick to dismiss that it's a man made machine though. Echoes and what not could alter the sound from what it originally sounded like. But I agree it's more believable it's an undiscovered species. This just stinks of alien theories and I do not think it's some sort of Loch Ness monster, just something that's big and undiscovered. Probably a very boring creature lol.

LoL @ Preachy-bwoy. He's on point.

It's funny, though, that we as humans have set foot on the moon already for pretty much 40 years, yet on our own Earth there still are so many undiscovered things, especially in the oceans.

I don't think anyone has been down there actually. And yes, there are literally millions of undiscovered creatures, like bigger than micro-organisms, down there.

Another funny thing to think about is that in a ton of soil, there are about a million micro-organisms known to man, and about 4-6 million that are undiscovered per definition of being discovered. Moreso, we have no real idea how these organisms interact and what they mean for our life. Imagine the amount of micro-organisms in your body, the bacterias that are as much a part of regulating your health as your own organs. In a sense, we know more about how the moon works than how we work ourselves, and that makes your funny even funnier.

lol Midichlorians? lol :)

Well. As far as I got it, they were an organism or chemical substance of some kind that was found within every living cell of a human body. In the Star Wars universe that is.

If you imagine a small micro-life form that can emit and/or submit electromagnetism somehow, you suddenly have a whole new connection in your body that is quite interesting. That would all be speculative, but the idea isn't THAT crazy.
