This is a Poster on DC comuter trains.

Here is a simular style Soviet Russia poster

And Another.

Not to mention the Message on the poster.

Like people should be told they should "report suspicious activity".

There actually is a lot of Communist symbolism in that poster, even down to the look of the people.

I cant believe they actually let something like that slide, LOL.

And I hate the "snitch on your neighbor" mentality. Its so rampant here in Australia, there are TV ads urging everyone to snitch on people for everything from drug use, to piracy to welfare cheating.

There was a guy in a pub in London somewhere who snitched on another punter sitting next to him. He phoned the police and said that there is an Irish terrorist sat next to me in the pub and he has got a shotgun in his bag.

The police came and ended up getting into a standoff with the guy. The guy didn't know what was going on when they told him to put the bag down and move away from the weapon. So the starts laughing and puts his hand in the bag, police riddled him with bullets. They went ovr to him and pulled out a table leg out of the bag. and it turned out he wasn't Irish he was Scottish and was speaking with a Scottish accent.

God i'd love to grab the guy who phoned the police.

I hate snitches but the cool, strong looking people in the poster is them trying to send the message that "You can be a cop too!" And people tend to want to be the "good" guy who captures the "bad" guy. Narcicism I think it's called where you look at everyone in society as potentially being the "bad" one, when you know in your head that you are good.

Exactly what I was gonna say. I thought at first it was some old school Communist propaganda, or a parody or something.

Not what I was gonna say. I don't want drug abusers and welfare cheats in my neighbourhood, so if people snitch on them, I'm happy.

So he's standing there, staring down the barrel of several police guns, and he decides to reach for what he knows the police believe is a weapon? What did he expect them to do? How dumb is this guy?

This is seriously some eerie shit. I remember lookin at shit like this in my history books back in high school, but it was about jews and like someone already said the cold war. I mean are we gonna start tearing down street signs with ethnic names again? Some might look at this and say its noth that big of a problem, which the signs, heh really aren't but the mentality of the US is. I still hear people talking like anyone could be a terrorist. Like when i went and saw Batman begins recentley, the old lady in front of me tells her grandchild that someone who walked in probably has a gun on him. Im sittin there like what the fuck. It is a serious issue and soon enough i think it will become more violent.

I agree with all of this!
