Ok this is annoying as anything. I want to fix it with out formatting my PC. But it's been useless so far. Maybe you goes can help me out
Some little shit was on my computer a while ago and he was surfing the internet. i got back that night and quickly hopped on and whenever i opened Internet explorer the start page would be about.blank (which will have a search page), all these pop ups would come up, if there's a page that can't be found it will have the PAGE CAN'T BE FOUND but inbetween the text it will also have search results, every time i go onto google and type a search it would come up with a popup with it's own search results (which more than often would have some link to porn), and whatever website i search it scans the entire page and then underlines words such as personal, host, website, cash etc. These would be links to the search results.
Anwyay i tried a plethora of programs to get rid of this annoying thing. Spybot would find something every time but it would just continue popping coming up anyway. The cleaner which is a really good trojan destroyer didn't find anything, adaware like spybot failed, trojan guarder would give me a warning each time, but every time i deleted the file it would still continue to come a few minutes later. Ít's driving me nuts. TSA or something or rather didn't do anything like all the other programs i used. I installled so many of these programs that it's just ridiculous. I don't want to format my computer because i ahve so much stuff that i need to keep which i can't get a hold of anymore (programs and what not). But if i'm forced to i'll have no other choice.
Help would be appreciated. I'll download Hijack this tonight and send you my logfile. But till then if you've had this problem before or you know what to do please feel free to share, any help is much appreciated.
