which brings our total to like...9 possible starters....wood, prior, hill, Z, maddux, guzman, williams, rusch, and now miller...

Mets outfield is better (Bust-tron and Floyd), they're better at first base, shortstop, catcher

and David Wright will be a better player than Ramirez in the future

and I'll take the Mets starting 5 and bullpen, due to the Cubs constant injury problems and such and Zambrano's melt downs

i promise you, quote me in your sig or something, the cubs will make the playoffs this year, as long as there arent any major injuries....now, injuries happen...its as simple as that...they happen...but its happened way too many times and for way too long now for the cubs....this is the year we dont get selfish and put wood in the bullpen and not push him, and allow our young talent to achieve...see what they can do....we may not win the division, which means we take second and come as the wild card...mark my words...

i like lee....i like him cuz he's modest....he has one good year, and no, i was one of the few cubs fans that didnt slobber over his sack....something about chicago fans, they have hope in just one thing in a team...at first it was sosa, then lee.....the bears....this year it was the defense.....bulls, it was gordon...one player or one thing that they depend and use as an excuse or a reason to say that the team will win....lee did amazing, cubs finish under .500, bears got a good D, no shit, it was reason enough for us to beat the panthers, which we ended up getting raped, and the bulls...back to our old sucking ways......long story short, im not one of those dickriders that rides on a player to carry a team....it rarely works in pro sports....lee's performance this year meant shit to me....


and while wagner is good, who's gonna set him up??? the cubs bullpen is much better than the mets'

look, I don't care for getting deep into this right now considering its still 2 months until the season starts, but this is all I'll say


-Wood and Prior will probably have 40 combined starts, at most
-I don't trust any team that has Dusty Baker running the ship
-Wade Miller will suck
-I don't know much about the Cubs bullpen but they better get used to working alot for Wood/Prior
-I still think Pierre will be a bust, he was horrible last year, and Wrigley wont have too much of an boost on his hitting because he's not a power hitter

Can somebody just fire Dusty Baker, this guy sucks, it's all his fault if the Cubs did not go to the World Series when he let Prior pitch for the 8th inning even if he showed fatigue in his pitches, this guy sucks. Just for fun, what's his record since he's the Cubs manager??? I bet that it is pretty bad, I just can't believe that 4 years ago many experts were saying that the Cubs with Prior and Wood and Zambrano would have one of the best rotation in the years to come. Cubs simply suck with Baker fire this moron.

P.S And oh please Wright owns Ramirez, Wright could be a MVP for years to come and Aramis... i don't think so
