Roy Keane leaves Man Utd

We could have done with him, really, but if it forces Fergie to bring in a replacement (and i'm not sure he'd allow a mutual termination if he didn't already have something set up...a certain Argentinian leg-breaker methinks) then it's a good thing. He's a legend, but past his prime.

Yeah probably off to the scum, cant say im too bothered.
I didnt think he would join Rangers.Since that he is not a loyalist protestant scum bag.

If Roy Keane does join Celtic then as a Rangers supporter u should b bothered. The best midfielder in England and one of the best in the world over the past 10 years.I honestly think that if he hadnt left Ireland at the 2002 World Cup,then Ireland couldve made the semis or even the final.Im not sayin that we'd have been that good, but that World Cup was of a very low standard.Delighted that he has left ManUre,cos now they r gonna go to shit.Payin useless cunts like Rio Ferdinand over a 100 grand a week is an absolute scandal.

DPG iz all I C said:
LMAO why would i be bothered about a 33 year old injury prone joining Celtic ? I'll be quite happy for him to drain their wage budget :)
i disagree, an im a rangers man. Roy aint half the player he was, but he's still better than anyone we've got.:(

100 times better than anythin ye got.word.^^and this is the scottish league were talkin about. Its a far lower standard than the premiership,so no matter if he is 33 and injury prone he will be a huge addition for Celtic if they got them

I think if Keane wants to stay playing at a high level he should move to Italy. The game is alot slower there, and it would definatley suit Keane.Id love if he joined Sampdoria.that's be cool. But if he wants to join Celtic then id b happy too.

What are the odds on him joinin his good old pal Mick McCarthy at Sunderland.

Can't understand some united fans here. How can you possibly say that it was a good time that he left? He is supposed to be a LEGEND! Is this how the man u fans treat clublegends? For me, a parmalegend can play with one foot and I wouldn't mind cause he is much too loved for me to think that it's time for him to go.

I guess big-team fans think different but...

Quit living in the past. I don't necessarily agree with him going now, but his star was fading. If Fergie had kept him around as a first team player then United would have had to play the God-awful 4-5-1 again, and we all know how well that worked.

By your standards, United should have kept playing Bryan Robson rather than bringing in a replacement - a young Irishman named Roy Keane.
