you get like 4 games with the premium package...

EB and Game Stop are gay. They're not offering the $399 Xbox 360 package that includes:

# Xbox 360 console. Sexy styling that packs a punch — three powerful core processors are poised to pump out 720p/1080i output, 16x9 cinematic aspect ratio, anti-aliasing for smooth textures, full surround sound and DVD playback right out of the box.
# Xbox 360 Hard Drive (20 GB). 20 GB and detachable, the hard drive allows gamers to store their games, music, downloaded trailers, levels, demos and community-created content from Xbox Live Marketplace.
# Xbox 360 Wireless Controller. Hassle-free high-performance precision wireless gaming features the Xbox Guide Button for quick access to digital movies, music and games libraries as well as a range and battery life of up to 30 feet and 30 hours of life on two AA batteries.
# Xbox 360 Faceplate. The removable Faceplate comes in stylish “chill” (white) and can be swapped out with custom Faceplates to reflect gamers’ personalities or decor.
# Xbox 360 Headset. This lets gamers strategize with teammates or trash-talk opponents while playing games on Xbox Live.
# Xbox 360 Component HD-AV Cable. This connects gamers to the world of Xbox 360 games and graphics through high-definition and standard-definition connections.
# Xbox Live Silver membership. With this, gamers can chat with friends online, send and receive voice and text messages, and access new content from Xbox Live Marketplace demos such as trailers and casual games from Xbox Live Arcade.
# A bonus Media Remote: Included for a limited time, the integrated control center for the entire digital experience lets consumers play DVDs, movies and music, as well as access their Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005-based PC's controls with a single remote.

I just want to buy the main system (the $399 package) and one game not some big expensive package with games I won't play or want to buy. grrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!

That's fucking ridiculous. Im not gonna pay that much. I could build a bad ass computer with just a little bit more. I guess I'll just have to wait until the price drops.

It costs $399, you couldnt build a PC that outputs those kind of graphics for $400 bucks. He's paying $800 because he's also getting 4 extra games and some extra battery packs and shit.

Ok, It is 399.99 BUT are you just gonna get one controller so nobody can play with you? No your not. Are you just gonna buy one game and play that forever? No you not. Regardless, you are looking at over 500 dollars, closer to 600 really. 50 dollar controller, 50-60 dollar games, and tax, ect. Now for a couple hundred dollars more yes I could build a nice PC. Im not saying I do not want one cause I think its gonnabe really nice but I just think its a ripoff for those prices, especialy when people are talking 60 dollars a game. :D

PS3 is going to be better. Also that Nintendo Revolution.
Dont start. Nothing about the Rev can even be debated as being better than Xbox, its pretty much the same specs but worse.

PS3 has higher specs but needs more of them to do what 360 does with lower specs.

Fuck, here we go again. *Waves at PaulyPac*

Lets all just wait until they come out.

Ermmm so what if you could build a nice PC for 800 bucks? You wouldnt have the games or extra controllers either. That analogy only works if you compare the PC hardware to the 360 hardware, which only costs 399.

Word, same. Its just sad that everyone, myself included, doesnt include Nintendo in the "best of both worlds" anymore.

NES Duckhunter is still my fav game ever.

I can see where one day, video game systems will be over 1000 dollars alone fucking damnit.

I don't want it to be a fucking computer purchase.

And games costing 60 dollars again? What year are we in? 1994? No, its 2005. Blah, if they continue to raise prices again, I won't even bother purchasing stuff until its in the bargin bin. (UPDATE EDIT!----I just found out that prices on some xbox360 titles have bumped down back to $49.99. Hopefully all titles will drop back down to 49.99)

okay, im done venting! :)
