Recognise each other (Good Debaters/debates)

Obviously everyone is going to feel different posters are good debaters depending on how much they agree with the person. Its kinda futile arguing with each other, because to get someone to agree with you on this would be like trying to draw blood from a stone.
How about everyone just stop the debating over who's the best debater and continue to post commendations to other people when they have seen them debate a point very well. I don't think that it would be neccesary a bad thing for someone if they 'lose' a debate, they could come back stronger next time, or score more points in a future debate. It doesn't mean you ahve to go get yourself banned because of the humiliation'

This thread is for everyone to just post who they think are good debaters and more importantly why. Its a place for people just come in and drop some props to people. It could be like a recognition thread. However do not reply to what other people have posted in this thread unless it is to co-sign sojmething positive said by someone else. I don't want this to be a beef thread.
Also, if there are some good heated debates. Then just talk alittle about a poster you liked in that particular debate without putting down the people he was debating against.
This is also place to study your 'enemies' strengths and weaknesses and for new people to get a feel of the people who are already posting in here.
Obviously peoples egos will be a little hurt from time to time, but i think we're all mature enough in here to recognise each others strengths and weaknesses.

Belle - she's rocked me a couple of times, she probably wont remember when but I remember the time she completely stopped my flow with one post and in was a debate about islam as well and not many people can stop my flow when discussing islam, I had to go away and do alittle research to counter her )

Antother one everyone completely missed is The Heartless aka outlawrydah. Though Im mostly on the other end of the spectrum to this guy, he keeps me on my toes.

Rukas- Ive never really debated with him on a topic of my choice, but usually alot of the stuff i read of his, i tend to either agree with or not counbter him because you can tell his post is well thought out. .

Thug XL - few people will remember him, but he was very similar to Illuminattile. He was very smart.

The Asasyn - again few people will rember him, but this guy was great at what he did. He would always make sure he got his point across clearly with no mis-representations.

Illuminattile - like i said before, his responses are always very exact, he knows a lot about different stuff (some people always respons to the same topic(s)..hes someone who knows much about different things)

ken - although his and my views on some things are different (religion etc) you can debate with him without him offending someone just because this person criticizes his beliefs. i respect that a lot.

Im also hoping that any comments will keep people interested in posting in WoW, as alittle appreciation of someones knowledge will keep them intersted in continuing debating. And if you've not got a good few mentions in this thread, then its time to step up your game

I had a good debate with AmericazMost (I think his name was), anyway, it was a clear cut discussion - we both had our say. There was no maliciousness despite our disagreement on the topic. No insults. We backed up our statements with reasons and most importantly, didn't get sidetracked like so many other arguments do. In the end, we agreed to disagree and respectfully left it at that.

Oh yeah, and recently I had a small debate with tupacmansion. Again, no insults or pettiness and we were able to walk away from it calmly without getting offended that we had disagreed.

So here's to you AmericazMost and tupacmansion :thumb:

I like beReal, obviously. I think we share the same opinions on a lot of things. Morris and Yahya are both very knowledgeable, even though they can be a little too biased.

Dunno why, but I had a negative opinion of ken before the crash. Like beReal said, I don't agree with him on specific issues, but not at all arrogant and speaks a lot of sense.

I also like this new kid, CalcuoCuchiceo (sp?), even if he's a little hot-headed.

Illuminattile, (not because he mentioned me), seems to back up his arguments quite well. I took particularly note of his posts in the 'afterlife' thread.

Anyways, I co-sign my hotheadedness.

To be able to be calm & relevant almost all of the time is one of the major signs of a good debator - my choice has that.

and back's it up really well...

(illuminattile) although we dont see eye to eye on alot of things ive seen some post's where he make's some very good point's,and it is noted.....
