Things are definitely looking good for the mighty Glasgow Rangers.

With Celtic getting humped 5-0 tonight, it looks highly unlikely that they'll go any further in the Champion's League. This means when Rangers stroll into the group stage, we get the entire TV revenue pot

And usually Celtic getting knocked out so early might be dangerous for Rangers - what with them lightening their fixture schedule & all - but after seeing them play so piss, I'm actually quite certain that it won't make a bit of difference!

In fact, Rangers could possibly get to the stage where we can afford to not turn up to certain domestic games & give our whole squad a nice wee rest before a European match.

We're talking football/soccer, the champions league is the europian cup! who ever wins this is obviously THE TEAM in europe! incase you never knew.

Ok with the scottish league not being great, we have to qualify to get in the champions league.

Rangers are CHAMPIONS so we have one qualifier which we will no doubt sail threw!

Celtic as RUNNERS UP in the league have two qualifiers to get to the champions league, the chances are they wont get past the first qualifier, as there 5 nil down!!! if they got past this team, but never got past the second qualifier, they would still go into europe in the uefa cup.


So celtic really are fucked!! another thing, like what calcuo said the champions league cash would have been split between rangers an celtic, now we scoop the lot! which is an added bonus!!


This result for celtic is also there worst EVER europian result!! ahahahahhaahhahahahahahah at least they can say they got beat by one of europe's big teams! "Artmedia Bratislava"

What does celtic getting a whipping? Not really, cuz strachon has just taken over, he's brought in new players, plus he aint done anything to prove he's a good coach!

Remember celtic we're beating teams like liverpool, blackburn,juventus,celta vigo, barcelona! a couple of seasons ago.

In saying that the scottish league is poor. we're a small country though!

Celta Vigo were relegated from Spain btw..Blackburn..well Craig Bellamy would rather join Blackburn then play for Celtic. However Beating Juve, Barcalona and Liverpool is some acomplishment.

Even if Strachan is a new manager Celtic shouldn't be losing 5-0 to some Slovak team, Celtic won't even be in the UEFA Cup either.

You must know when a new manager takes over he has to rebuild the team an make it his team, celtic have an ageing team but still have good players, but strachon aint a very good coach, which means no direction!

The thing is people think cuz strachon is pure class in interviews that makes him a good coach! Remember when he took over at coventry from big ron? he was there for i think 4 or 5 years an done nothing! he was getting pies and soup thrown at him every other week, from his own fans! When he went to southhampton he inherited probally the best southampton team in 15 years! a great job done by hoddle, he steady'd the ship for around 15 months, got them to an FA cup final, brought in his players an fucked it up! southhampton we're slipping down the league fast! he told the chairman in october that he would be leaving in the summertime, then the results kept getting worse, and then by xmas time the chairman said i want you to leave now!!

It's in tune with a common chant & was getting sent to Rangers fans like 10 minutes after the Bratislava game had finished - in other words, the dude who made it put no effort in.

And anyways, your opinion on that matter holds less weight than Orlaith.
