Randy Orton Suspended From WWE

#1
WWE issued a text message to their mobile service subscribers today confirming that Randy Orton has been suspended from WWE for "unprofessional conduct."

Although the length of the suspension has not been confirmed, current rumors going around say that it is for 60 days.

Orton had been advertised to take on Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event at tonight's SmackDown tapings.

He still worked the SmackDown! tapings and was billed as being on SmackDown! next week too.

Unsubstantiated rumours suggested that he'd hit on Stephanie McMahon in front of Triple H. I don't buy that, though. Apparently it's not drug-related.

I know he broke dress-code, which WWE are very strict on. I think he's pissed off that Angle replaced Batista instead of him, and then with Rey winning the belt at 'Mania ahead of him...

I heard he hit on a Diva..or something and wouldn't stop pestering her.

That sounds like Randy, he's always flirtin with the ladies. Which is a good thing, but when your at Work that should be your top priority, go out an mess with the ladies when your not busy working.

like Illuminattile said its probably cause Kurt an Rey jumped in front of him when it came to the world title picture. he believes he's the top guy, he's not getting his way. he carries a hissy fit argue with your boss your getting some time off, plain and simple.

From WWE.com: Randy Orton responds to being suspended

Prior to SmackDown this past Tuesday, Randy Orton was told that he was being suspended for 60 days due to unprofessional conduct. WWE.com recently caught up with Orton to get his reaction to his suspension. Here is what he had to say:

“WWE has certain standards of conduct they expect out of all the Superstars on both RAW and SmackDown. Unfortunately, I violated those standards and was not representing WWE the way I should have been. Basically, my conduct was unbecoming of a champion, which is what I will be again when I return.”
lol sounds to me like the suspension is a work

The PWTorch Newsletter is reporting that Randy Orton’s suspension is due to his behavior backstage at WrestleMania 22.

The issue with Orton seems to be mostly due to his attitude about how he is a main eventer and feeling that he does not have to follow the same rules as everyone else, as opposed to doing something to someone else or his health. The word going around right now is that Orton feels he is above the rules, and has had several issues in the past backstage, mainly with female co-workers and the way he talks to them.

Randy Orton is one of the least liked people backstage, and has the most heat of anyone right now. The Undertaker is said to despise Randy Orton, and it’s not just an issue with “serious people” not liking his attitude, as people who love to party like Ric Flair and Kurt Angle do not like him either.

This suspension is likely to be very good for locker room morale, and it doesn’t look like anyone will be missing him backstage.
