Just train hard and make sure you eat enough, than this is no problem. Keep your proteins up through eatin some meet, milk, eggs - stuff like that. But don't trip. As long as you work hard, you'll gain - also without supplements.

See, the key to gain is training, not supplements. Supplements might help, but they aren't the point of liftin weights. I know enough people that are good in shape without takin any supplements, I didn't take any for years neigther.

yeah i just take them cuz i was told it works better than solid foods, yeah cuz they havnt always been around have they, like people been weight lifting for ages, when suppliments werent around, i just thought that cuz i was used to taking protein in liquid form having a break would slow something down or something, thanks for help

the type of protein you consume is important.theres studies that show big differences in results in the exact same conditions but with different forms of protein.if you're gonna be out for a few weeks then it shouldnt be a problem, just always try to keep some protein ahead of time so if you are ever short on funds, you'll have enough until you can get some more. for now just use eggs or tuna for pre and post workout protein

thanks, yeah ima stock up this time round! dumb question and im probably answering it my self, do the triceps develop faster than the bicep, cuz i been working em out the same, ya know with reps and sets, and i noticed my tris are bigger than my bis, think i read somewhere that they do and and you should concentrate on the biceps first, then the tris, i was thinking bis twice a week and tris once, but ive noticed when working the chest ya work ya tris a bit anyway lol i dont want to have fucked up looking arms

Well I don't think they grow faster, the triceps simple actually is a bigger muscle than the biceps..... Everybody talks about the biceps while actually the triceps is 2/3 of your arm...... I think what simply happens to you is that you're not used to see a shaped triceps, esp after only 6 weeks of training I wouldn't mind havin "fucked up lookin arms"..... Until it doesn't look natural no more, it will take a couple of years!

i know i just want decent shaped bis, cuz ive seen people who trained for couple year they have good bis and goes well with the tris, and ive seen people who have been training a long time and it looks wierd that their tris stand out more

The triceps's natural shape is an "U", so I dunno if you can call it weird if it "stands out more" - anyway I dunno what dudes you met&saw, :) - but what I know is that if you want to have big arms, you gotta work your triceps.

P.S.: As you mentioned before, it's very hard 2 isolate a muscle completly. Triceps are worked too if you do benchpress, etc. Keep that in mind, give your muscles enough rest and learn to use this effect to save time. After a good pec workout for example, you usually only need 2 add one or two more exercices and your triceps workout is copmpleted as well, since it should already be very tired from benchpressin....
P.S.S: havin said that - I don't like triceps workout. I think it's boring. All I do for my triceps is benchpress and that stuff - and still my triceps is in good shape, just gotta learn to use the side-effects of certain exerices.

A lot of it might be due to genetics. Certian muscles in your body might be more responsive to heavier stress than others. Personally I find my biceps more responsive than my triceps.
