Technology Question About Routers

It seems like I need a router to play online with the PSP but I have no clue what it is. Can someone tell me what it does, which is the best, and how much does it cost?

You need a router because you have to share your internet conection with your PSP or PS2.

A Network Router is a device that can connect two or more devices together to form an internetwork(EX home network). You need this to share your internet connection with the PSP. Buy here http://www.newegg.com Dlink and Linksys are two name brands.

I can't go into how it works or what exactly it does because it would require you getting a Network+ and taking part 1 media and topologies to understand.
