Technology Question about FIFA 07

If I start the EPL season, in addition to playing all the EPL games, I want to be able to play champions league games as well (like in real life). I don't want to be playing only EPL games cause then it gets boring, plus with CL games its more exciting and more matches.

So my question is which game mode will allow me to do that? Manager or tournament mode?

Also, I just bought this game and I'm still trying to figure out the tricks and stuff. Any good tricks you can teach me?

Manager mode should be the one. I got FIFA 08 and it's in Manager mode. You should have it also in 07.

Yea I figured it would be on manager mode as well. But the thing with manager mode is I have no clue about managing the team....all the transfer thing, sponsor, transaction and all that financial shit...I'm not good at those things. You gotta scout player and shit too.Its too much work, it will give me headche. I just wanna play ball lol.

I know this cause I was playing NBA manager mode before and I was doing all well and like in middle of third season or something I didn't pay attention to all the financial stuff and signgings and shit and i got stocked, I ran out of salary or some shit so I couldn't sign my current players or some shit and I couldn't literally go on to the next season. lol So I know somewhere down the line if I start manager mode in FIFA, same thing will happen to me cause I have no clue about paper work.

By the way, is FIFA 08 really better than 07?

It's really simple, they didn't complicate the pay-rates, scouting and sponsors too much. It's nothing like Football Manager 2007. It's still very arcade-ish

2008 is cool, harder to score than in 2007 thats for sure. They added a couple new leagues. I picked Dortmund and I'm battling out for first place with Bayern and Stuttgart lol.

I don't know why they added the Australian league, what a waste that is lol. It's not like I'm gonna scout out Australia for players.

Yea they have some weird leagues in 07 as well. Turkey? and Poland? If they put Poland, they might as well put my country and worst of all, as if existence of this league in real football wasn't dumb enough, MLS??? Are you fucking kidding me? lol

I'm gonna give a try to this manager mode with either Man U or Real Madrid.

I wonder if there are cheat codes for this game (07). I wanna unlock somethings like alternative jerseys and stadiums and shit like that. Ather way I can unlock these things if I win championships and shit like that. But for instance if I were to go with manager mode and win EPL and earn enough points to unlock an alternative game jersey, will that jersey be available in that manager mode or elsewhere? Thats why I wanna unlock some of those things before I go on to manager mode so I can have those unlocked features on manager mode, because who knows maybe they won't be available in manager mode.

And Manager Mode in FIFA 07 is great. It's simple. Just send scouts to your country and put it in max.

I always max my Scout first so I find awesome young players and when they are 21, 22 I sell them and make great profits, buy new players, make my stadium bigger, etc.

I spend more time in the managerial part of the game than playing.

And the Turkish league is pretty good by the way.
