Pre-Season Football Disscussion

#1
Just thought i would start off a Pre-Season disscussion thread were we can chat about Tranfers, Qualifying Matches and the like.

Feel Free to disscuss about any team you like.

Ill start off with will Man U be a better team this season due to them signing Van Der Sar?

How about Luque Saying he would like to play for Liverpool? Good Signing or bad?

What about Crouch?

Or for Chelsea would Torres be a good signing for them?

As i said feel free to chat about anything you like in regards to football even games Like Football Manager etc...

Thanks for your time

Justin

I think Man United could've spent their money better.

They should've bought Niemi. Around about the same price, around about the same quality (Edwin's got the experience I admit) but different ages. Niemi's only about 31, Van Der Sar is like 35.

I'm just so happy about the Terrell Owens-Philadelphia Eagles situation. It's going to hurt the Eagles because he's not playing, and Owens is making himself look like an ass. Even the Philly fans are hating on him. I couldn't be happier about it. :D

I agree but according to Van Basten he thinks van der sar is the best keeper in the world atm!!!!

Damn I though I was the only Raider fan around here. With the addition to Randy Moss it looks sweet. The only problem as always are the penalty flags they mount up. Oh and the fact we really don't have a quarterback.

He's cheap, he's experienced, he's good. As long as he's fit enough I'm happy with the signing. Howard has two years to sort his life out and become worthy of wearing the #1 shirt.

If he's as good as he is on FM or PES4, he's a good signing. Never seen him play IRL.

What about Crouch?
Someone will take a gamble on him, and I think it might pay off. I don't think he's England first team material, but he's a good player. Any team who rely a lot on crosses and set pieces would love to have him in the box.

What about the Owen swap for RVN?
Not gonna happen. RVN has one bad season, due in no small part to his injury, and everyone wants his head. A fit, on-form RVN is deadly. I like Owen, and it would be cool to have the England strike partnership at United, but I don't think it'll happen.

I don't see why United are interested in David Villa. He's young and good, but do they need another striker? I know they were forced to play Bellion last season, but that was just bad luck. Besides, they have the wonderkid Rossi.

My question:

Who has better bouncebackability; United or Arsenal? How much will it depend on signings?
