Post up info on supplements you have used here, good & bad :thumb:
Protein bars:
Weider 32% protein bar: 19g protein and under 6g of fat per bar, strawberry and bannana flavours taste good, costs around £1.75, great for bumping up protein content when you haven't got time.
Protein shakes:
Maximuscle promax: Nutritional Info:
Per 90g (daily serving - 3 scoops)
Energy 357 Kcal/1493kJ
Protein (on dry matter) 76.5g
Carbohydrates 4.95g
Fats 4.05g
Tastes great for a protein powder and can be mixed with water or milk which is convenient, also mixes with ease, although this is one of the more exspensive powders on the market, but I think it's worth the extra cash, about £30 a tub.
Holland & Barret whey protein: Although this stuff is cheap (320 a tub), and has good enough nutritional content, it really is one of the worst tasting protein drink I've ever had, it makes me wanna heave just thinking about it , It also is a pain in the arse to mix, one to avoid in my opinion.
Meal replacements:

This is quite a nice tasting bar, although it's a little powdery, very convenient when your out and about, the nutrition content should satisfy all but the hardest gainers, the only down side to these are the price (£2.50 a bar), although you can get them a little cheaper if you buy in bulk.
Maximuscle, maxmeal, meal replacement drinks:
Nutritional Info:
Per 85g (1 sachet)
Energy 32.1kcal/1342kJ
Protein 52.87g
Carbohydrate 13.8g
Fats 7.65g
A good alround meal replacement drink, mixes well, tastes o.k, mixes with water so it's really convenient and not to exspensive (a box of 20 for £31.99) gets a definate thumbs up from me.
Creatines:
Maximuscle creatamax 8000gl:
Nutritional info:
Per 1 serving = 35g - 1 scoop
Energy 133kcal/566kJ
Carbohydrate 22.1g
Protein 11.2g

Mixes well, tastes fine, a little on the exspensive side (£34.99 a tub which will last about 2 weeks), although when I used it I didn't see much gains at all (they do say creatine doesn't work for 30% of people, guess i'm one of the unlucky ones).
so go ahead and tell us about what youve used and if it was good or not, peace
