Pistons And Knicks Make Offers For Kevin Garnett

#1
LA Times - An ESPN Insider said that despite the Pistons' heated denials, they'd offered Rasheed Wallace and Darko Milicic, and that the Knicks had offered the expiring contracts of Antonio Davis and Penny Hardaway, but that Garnett wanted to be a Knick and even made "back-channel" overtures.

"I would bet money," the Insider source said, "he will be wearing a Knicks' uniform by the end of February."

Yeah Damn - but I don't believe the Pistons offer through plus I can't believe that Miny would trade KG for Antonio Davis and Penny Hardaway - u can get more then that. I don't think it's true.

Glen Taylor (Wolves' GM) said in a statement to the media less than a month ago that he will never trade garnett as long as hes under contract with minnesota. he said KG has never inquired about a trade, and, although he was disapointed by last seasons results, he is committed to the timberwolves.

KG IS NOT LEAVING, AND WILL NEVER LEAVE, I PROMISE YOU THIS!!!

but i did hear something about trading scerbiak and marko jaric to the knicks for marbury to reunite KG and starbury. doubt it will happen, but it would be interesting

He Aint Gonna Win A Title In Minnesota, Not With What The T-Wolves Got Right Now. If Anything KG Should Go To Detroit An Reunite With Flip. That Is The Best Situation For KG. Mchale Needs To Rebuild. Minnesota's Best Chance Was That Year They Went To The Conference Finals Against The Lakers. Then The Following Year Not Even Make It To the Playoffs. (COME ON NOW). You Can Keep Wally World, (Sprewell Has To Go). Keep McCants, Trade Hudson For Somethin Good In Return.

If The T-Wolves Dont Make The Playoffs This Year. That Club Has Problems. Kevin Will Definitely Have His Hands Full.

Whats KG Contract Worth Like $120 Million Dollars?

If KG does go to the Knicks, Stephon Marbury would be going the other way. The two played together in Minnesota before and the relationship was not good, thus the reason Steph left the T-Wolves.
