Technology Opera Web Browser

for all who don't know about this.. its Opera, a fairly new web browser... well considered new to those who dont know about it... its 10 times better than Mozilla, and is way more functional, and displays web pages w/o any errors... any person who designs web pages would like this browser alot better... anyhow another good part about this browser is that it blocks all adds, and by that i mean pretty much ALL ADDS, exept google adds and shit that come up on pages... (every once in a while ill get an add pop up using mozilla) .....for instance if u were to visit a geocities add supported site with Opera *why i dunno*, all the lil javascript pop ups (if yall kno what that is) and banners n shit dont even appear to come up (mozilla still displays those adds).. also opera is more customizable.... shit i sound like some kind of sales person .... anyhow i just wanted to share that with everyone, if your happy with mozilla, stay with it.... or even the I.E. users... w/e i dunno anyhow heres the download link

I'm using Opera now, and it's aight. Haven't come across anything that makes it better than Firefox.

Yes. It has mouse gestures in-built, which was nice. Couldn't work out how to customise the quick searches, or the Price Check search box.

Yes it does, and they're annoying. I don't see any real need to drop Firefox, for the meantime.

Avant uses the Internet Explorer engine, though.

I've used AVANT, OPERA, and FIREFOX and firefox is better in my opinion. Avant.. i don't know what it is about that program but it ALWAYS pissed me off.. it seemed to run slower. Opera.. well my mom used that for about a year or 2 on her computer and I had to use it. Only think I liked about it was the tabs. Then firefox. It has tabs and plenty of other additional options u can download and install into it.

Anyway, opera's old to me and no better than firefox nor will it ever be better than firefox in my opinion.

opera doesnt support the WYSIWYG thingy. other than that, its ok
