Obama and Rick Warren

If you didn't know, Obama chose Rick Warren to lead the prayer at his inauguration, and it's been a hot topic of discussion lately because Rick Warren was a strong supporter of proposition 8 and he, from what I read, compares same sex marriage to polygamy and pedophilia.

Do you have any thoughts on the matter?

Well, Obama made it a point during the debates of saying he didn't support gay marriage. I just can't stand Warren because he's spreading ignorance far and wide. Doesn't believe in evolution. His Brokeback Mountain Church looks like a mega-Walmart or Scientology Headquarters.

Obama just wants everyone to "come together." Then he also should have had Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, or Sam Harris give an anti-religion, or pro-evolution speech at his inauguration.

But then, Warren will hopefully just be leading a prayer, not preaching. And Pastor Joseph Lowery, a civil-rights icon, will be there speaking too.
