You can say at least that your gm, Bobby Clarke, is active on the market and your team is gonna be pretty good next year especially in your division you are gonna play 8 times the New York Rangers, a team that doesn't to say it but they are on a rebuilding process so Forsberg, Hatcher, Therien, Rathje these 4 players are added to the great roster already in place with Gagné, Zhamnov, Pitkanen and Esche in front of the net damnn Philly are gonna be serious contenders next year!

I was hoping a weaker team would pick up Forsberg. I was actually thinking that the Canucks would get him cause of Naslund. They wanted to play together.. but no team in the NHL could afford them both.

I sure am. Though my Leafs will be shit this year. I can accept that we'll be garbage for one year. But next off-season, the Leafs plan on being busy with potential free agents like Ryan Smyth, Joe Thorton, Vinny Lecavalier.
But you never know.. perhaps the Leafs can put together a half-decent team and compete.
