Raw Superstar Kane recently did an interview with theringsidemayhem website and heres a transcript of the segment:
Andy Sidaris: First off I would like to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule and joining us today
Kane: No prob bob, it's good to be heard.
Andy Sidaris: Alright well let's get down to it, what's the deal with your current angle against this impostor Kane?
Kane: Well I'm a bit burned out and I want to take some time off and I thought that this would be a great way to go about things.
Andy Sidaris: So this was your idea?
Kane: Yeah. I am The Undertaker's "brother" afterall and since WWE is on a retro kick I figured why not.
Andy Sidaris: So how did this come about?
Kane: I sometimes visit forums and listen to general fan response and an overwhelming majority of them seem to think that I should have never given up the mask and want it back. I thought that I should please them. I ran the idea by creative and they loved it even though they added their own touches to it like me knowing the guy but it's mostly still my idea.
Andy Sidaris: Sounds good. Say, is there any chance of you doing something with The Undertaker again in the near future?
Kane: It's possible but I would keep my eyes and just wait for now.
Andy Sidaris: So what are your thoughts on the WWE as a whole?
Kane: Well as I said before, I read a lot of the fan response and I Don't agree with all the negativity. The tag division isn't as great as it was but me and Show brought credibility back to those belts and the wrestling itself has come a long way from how it was back in 1997. Sure things aren't great but they are far from abysmal.
Andy Sidaris: If there was someone you had a chance to tangle with in the ring right now, who would it be?
Kane: I don't even have to hesitate to answer this one it would either be Mark Henry or Finlay because they compliment my style perfectly.
Andy Sidaris: Speaking of Finlay what's the story behind that mat based match you and The Big Show worked?
Kane: That was just us having fun man, people out there think I can't wrestle and am nothing more than a gimmick and I just wanted to prove them wrong.
Andy Sidaris: What are your thoughts on TNA?
Kane: No one has the right to call anything from my career wrestlecrap after seeing that garbage.
Andy Sidaris: I forgot to ask about your successful film See No Evil, what are your thoughts on that project:
Kane: It was fun and opened up a whole new world for me. I'm already signed up for a sequel, a novel, action figures and there is even talk of a video game in the works. Personally I thought the only things missing were a better grasp of story management and frontal nudity to drive home that horror movie flavor.
Andy Sidaris: Two questions before you go, any title reigns in the works and who is your secret crush?
Kane: Well I have been promised a meaningful title reign but I'm not sure if I really need it and if I were to pick a diva that I had affection for it would be Kristal.
Andy Sidaris: Alright, thanks for the scoop I sure had fun
Kane: Same here partner, maybe I'll catch you on the IRC chat or on XBOX LIVE sometime, later bro.
