New England Patriots: Can they be stopped?

#1
this team is unreal. Tom Brady is not human. i've come to the conclusion after watching yesterday's game against Miami that they swapped the real Tom Brady with a super advanced football playing android. and Randy Moss is just ridiculous. seriously though, i refused to buy into the hype that the Pats might go undefeated, it's just not possible. that '76 Dolphins (or was it 74?) team was just a once in a lifetime freak occurence. but i no longer believe that. can anyone stop the Patriots? is there a team (other than the Colts maybe) that can beat them? it looks less and less like there is every week.

so what do you think? will the Pats go 16-0? and if not, who do you think will be the team to defeat them?

PS: for those who haven't been paying attention, Tom Brady has thrown 27 touchdowns so far this year, which is one off of his previous season high, and he's on pace to obliterate Peyton Manning's record of 49 touchdowns by at least 13. he is a freak, ladies and gentlemen. whether you're a fan of the Pats and Brady or not, you have to appreciate a legendary performance like this.

they played 7 games, they havent scored less than 30 points per game, and the most they conceded is 28 and 27, in the last two games...

The next games

Bills, W
Eagles, W
Ravens, ?
Steelers W
Jets W
Dolphins W
Giants ?

Those are the two games I'm left wondering if they'll win.

you forgot the Colts, they play them in 2 weeks, and both teams are still undefeated (depending upon what happens tonight with Indy/Jax), so that game could be legendary. they are really the only team i think that has a legitimate shot at beating them. other than that tho, the rest of the season should be a cakewalk (keywords: should be). ok, maybe the Giants have a decent shot too, but the Ravens? they aren't playing well at all this year, their vaunted defense is missing and they have little or no offense to speak of. if they don't get their defensive problems sorted out before the Pats get there, it will be a slaughter for the Pats.

^^^yeah, i'd like to say that my skins will be the one to beat them, but i gotta be honest. especially after that showing against the cards yesterday. hopefully we won't get shalacked, but that's about all i can hope for.

i think the colts might beat them, which they have a good chance of doing cuz they're at home.

i think every fan of a team the Pats will be playing this year is shaking in their boots right now, even Colts fans (although probably not as much). sorry FroDawgg, but i smell another blowout coming. have hope, tho: it seems each opponent they play scores at least 1 point more than the last Pats opponents, so there's a good chance you can score 30 points in the game. but Bionic Brady will make it tough to keep up. i swear he is not human.

If they can beat the colts in week nine then they have a good shot at going undeafeted, will they you say? I wouldn't hold my breath, remember most teams sit there key stars in the final two weeks midway through games so they don't get injured.

Now the real question is will the dolphins go 0-16. Now thats a good possibility seeing as they lost there only ray of hope on offense Sunday to a season ending knee injury.

well i'm still not sure i believe the Pats will go undefeated, but i no longer believe the feat of going 16-0 will never be replicated as i once did. and that's a good question about the Dolphins, especially now that Ronnie Brown is done for the season. the Rams can be included in this discussion too, i don't think i've ever seen them play this badly.

but back to the Pats. i hope people have some appreciation for what they are seeing here. this isn't just some good team, this could possibly be one of the greatest teams ever playing right now. Tom Brady was already going to be a Hall-Of-Famer, but now he is becoming legendary.

well to be honest, i really doubt the Pats, or any team will go undefeated after omething was brought to my attention (something i'm surprisd i ever thought of): most playoff bound teams (that would be the Pats this year for sure lol) pull their starters the last couple games of the season. it's unlikely that if they do that (which i massure you they will) they will win all their games. although 15-1 and 14-2 are certainly not out of the question.

next week baby, this could be the biggest game of our generation in football, man i can't wait.
