First, I'll say I'm viewing this as two different things. One, there are players that are destined to get a title. And two, those who I want to get a title--out of pity and because they are deserving superstars. My vote was based on who I want to win.

Steve Nash will get a title. Period. T-Mac...I want to see what happens with him and Yao over the next 5 years. If nothing happens in that time, he won't have a title. It's possible, but not right now. A month ago I would have said AI has reached his prime and he's undeserving of a title. He had his chance. He may still get one. Let's face it, Jason Kidd is one of the best point guards the game has seen (btw, last night that behind the back shit was nice). Paul Pierce isn't even championship material. Sorry I think he's overrated. Ray Allen is my dude, but he may never see a title.

My pick is KG. He IS the most deserving. He has done all he can for a title. Blame for no championship in Minnesota goes to the management.

AI. Anyone who goes out and plays that hard deserves to win. Just to see what he does is amazing. Second would be KG for me, he's in the same boat as AI. I heard them say on ESPN that he might be goin to Chicago so who knows.

Kevin Garnett without the doubt.Allen Iverson comes close but i can't leave out KG.Kevin Garnett is the most deserving imo.I admire his work ethic and passion for the game so much.He gives 100 plus every time he plays. He has the heart of the competitor. He is a true player. It just hurts such a talent to be wasted. He is wasting time playing for loosing team. While him being all loyal is understandable but he needs to move on with better team to have a chance to win a championship because at the end of the career i want people to remember him one of the hardest and best players ever. But unfortunately, these days if you don't have rings,no matter how good you are nobody will remember you the way they do if you hold some rings.

I dont share your opinoins on steve nash getting a title, the suns are good, but they are easily exposable to bigger teams, sure they can run and gun but 82 games and then a long playoff run makes for tired legs. There no Lakers of the eighties with a dominate half court set as well as the ability to run and gun.

They are very easily exposed when they are set in a half court game, once the tempo slows down phoenix falls apart. With that said i would love to see steve nash win a title just not with the suns i hate that organization.

My pick was simple as it should be for most. KG is the most deserving guy plain and simple, he carries this team he shows up to play night in and night out and there terriable most the time. He has spent most his carreer on a losing team yet has a lot of dignity to stick it out with a poorly managed franchised for the most part. Has a great off the court record, doesnt complain to the media like cry baby iverson, the guy is upstanding and very respectful.

Good point, but they almost did it last year! The West for the most part over the past few years hasn't changed much--the same dominant teams have run it (with the exception of the Lakers). The Lakers will make it to the second round this time, but like last year I think it comes down to Dallas and Phoenix. Phoenix is the better team in my opinion although I know most people won't agree. I just prefer watching the Suns play than Dallas.

Most deserving : Jason Kidd. Best PG since Magic.

Who I want to see win a title : Ray Allen. I just like him. I love pure shooters and he's my fav player.

Well at this point in the season both teams are neck and neck. Dallas with the slight edge of course due to the fact it is number one in the west, but hands down Dallas and the Suns are the two hottest teams in the NBA right now at this juncture of the season. I agree about watching the suns its very exciting. Its changed a lot actually we have the Lakers, Utah and Houston. Houston was a 500 team last season utah was a 500 team as well. So the west has changed quit a bit, plus the weaker teams like golden state and the clippers are still very dangerouse, not in a playoff aspect but in a aspect of they can defeat the number one teams if they slack off.

AI and KG are most deserving to win the tittle but i choose KG still just because the reasons i gave above but also because he is not a media whore.Unlike Iverson who comes on TV and starts whining how unhappy he is that he plays for loosing team and that he is a franchise player so he doesn't need to practice.I've never seen KG come on TV and show any emotions towards his teammates or anything. The only time i saw him show any emotion was few years ago he did the interview and kind of broke down but even then his emotions seemed genuine and real.

KG without a doubt because he has been consistant and dominant throughout his career with hardly any team support at all. Hes had some support in the marbury era but even then marbury is a shoot first point guard who does not make his teamates better, and with spree and cassel they had a really great chance 2 win but just couldnt pull it off. Most players would bolt after having that glimpse of good teammates but hes stuck with the orginaziation through the good and bad so he gets my vote.

In 2nd would have to be Jason Kidd because he is one of the greatest pgs ever 2 play the game. Steve Nash is great but he is just a poor mans Jason Kidd.

So we base players on how they speak to the media now? Not a real game, the media, not game that I go out and die for everyday, the media, we're talkin bout the media, the media? Haha. Thats like the only time AI ever really said anything, people are exagerating this whole media thing about him, probably just dont like him and need a reason not too. Seriously, no one plays like AI no one without a ring is better than AI. I'm sure you can argue that Nash is better than AI cus he makes people around him better but thats nonsense, AI has never been given the opportunity to be passer, until what seems to be now cus he is throwin some dimes, he has always had to score. When did scoring become bad also? Michael was a scorer, he didnt really make his teammates better except to put rings on their fingers, he dont get hated on. I dont even think Magic got love like Steve Nash is gettin now, people act like hes the best PG ever when he aint even the best in the league, see Kidd.

Believe me thats not the only time AI said anything like that,i know for a fact he has said and whined over things many times before, believe me.And even that time, why are you taking that incident so lightly and aren't saying anything about that?It was a huge controversial comments he made and like it or not those words ''practice,we talking about practice'' changed a lot of peoples minds about him after that and the type a player he really was. So,don't just look at that incident and go right by it because it was a big deal.I mean just think about it,do you not think it was a foolish comment?I don't care who you are and how good you think you are you don't say something like that.Had even MJ said that i would have felt very disappointed at him because just because you're a franchise player you don't put yourself above your teammates. You're need just as same practice as your teammates,i'm sure we all know this and agree on so no need to go any further anymore.

What i'm really basing on between the two is how much passion for the game the two have and how much respect and love for the game the two have and how much they really want to win.Because we know they both are great players playing in different positions so we can't really say AI is better than KG.They both are great at their positions. But i'm basing on is their passion and willingness to win and thats where i'm picking KG because he i think wants to win the most and deserves to win the most.

I did put up AI with KG and said they both deserve the most so you can't say i dislike AI cause if that was the case i wouldn't have given him that much respect. And yes there is a player who plays harder than AI,KG.

AI is better than KG cus he took his team to the finals, out of the first round..... AI said him missing practie was a mistake so you sayin he thinks he is above the team is dumb. And no he has never said anything bad about players or the team. But yes you can say KG plays harder whatever, really no way to tell, I respect them both tremendously cus of their work ethic and heart. But whatever, Im cool with KG or AI.

i co-sign, i live in Minnesota and its been frustrating, before last year it was 7 straight 1st round playoff exits... T-wolves upper management is just retarded.
