NBA Trading Cards

#1
Hey guys,

Not sure if this topic belongs here but here is the place that I think should fit well as it is a sport topic.

Just wondering if anyone collects any NBA trading cards as most of you's are situated in the U.S. and I think this hobby is quite BIG over there.

I haven't seen a single card since probably a year ago and now I'm back collecting again. Back when I was young, I used to buy a pack here and there but I'm amazed at what card contains these days and the current value it holds.

Anyway, let's see if anyone else collects.

Peace~

I use to be a big collector back in the day. i got out of my hobby back when i was 19. but when Lebron came in the NBA, i went and bought a Upper deck special edition. 25 cards in the Lebron set.

I need to start buying them again i dont even have any Kobe or Yao Ming cards. i do want some D.Wade and Carmelo cards.

I still have all my NBA Cards i got them stored away. i wont even touch em, if they are ever worth a high, high value. then i might sell a few.

I got 40 Jordan cards in my Collection. and 25 Shaq cards including his Rookie Card.

Well that's good to hear man because you're story is nearly the same as mine. I've just came back to the hobby and following the NBA again, so I'm just amazed on how great these things are and especially it makes you feel closer to the game. Basketball cards certainly have came a long way from back in the days. Here is a sample of a card that I own.

I've been a long time follower of Allen Iverson so I've been collecting his memorabilias for the last year and now I'm starting to collect Andre Iguodala as well. It's a shame they might be separated for next season. :(

^ Investment for sure Bank Robber. I've always thought you were more of a Basketball fan than Baseball though, from back in the days that is. :p

Here is another sample. It is of the most expensive product in the basketball card industry; Upper Deck Exquisite Collection, card serial'd to 10. This one contains a unique Game Worn Letter Patch.

And this one is for the Wade fans. This card is not mine but it is of another collector. He just bought it for quite a crazy price.
