NBA on Sky Sports

Does anybody know why sky sports arent televising the nba games this year?

i found a tv schedule on the nba site. it says they are going to begin televising starting from march.

i mean, the season end in april. so thats only 2 months of the nba games on tv. i dont have the NASN channel. and Five US, fait enough, but its not sky sports is it?

any1 in the uk got any info on this?

Maybe coz of low ratings..

But I dunno...Five US is on Sky digital right?

yea. Five US is on sky digital. so is NASN and Sky Sports. Im sure NBA would get higher ratings than NFL in the UK. There are many basketball teams over here, youth level, college level, national. theres no american football teams. so there should of course be more people interested in basketball. therefore the people which have sky sports, are more likely to be interested in basketball rather than american football.
