Anybody interested in this?

Quite a bit of stuff going on, with players leaving the NBA to play overseas for more money, players being signed, etc.

Josh Childress, Carlos Arroyo and Earl Boykins all went to foreign clubs.

Turiaf left the Lakers, no big deal there..

Davis joined the Clips, Brand left the Clips

Warriors signing everyone within sight

T Mac might go to Detroit

LeBron and Kobe both talking about possibility of playing in another country for about 50 mill a year.

Anything you guys find discussion-worthy?

Nobody"s Worth 50 Million!!! :fury:

and Turiaf's loss will help the Lakers, Bynum wont be the savior you need defense off the bench. they should have went for Artest.

Clippers looking good on the FA market. Baron, Camby, Ricky Davis, and Jason Williams. if Jay can be healthy he can be a beast. and you got Eric Gordon coming in. the Clips can play together they look good on paper can be a 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs.

Joe Dumars must have been sick with a cold on the day he signed Kwame Brown WTF??? worst pickup in the off season this year.

Almost no one's worth $50 mil a year. That shit was a joke, obviously. The fact that they said that while repping Team USA and not the corporate franchies they're contracted to should make that explicit. I could see paying Dwight, Lebron, KG, CP3 upwards of $35 mil/yr based on what they've done but of course the markets, teams, might/can't not be able to support that but that's the value they give.

I'm very interested in comparing the Timberwolves and Grizzlies next year. OJ Mayo is an amazing fuckin basketball player but it seems Minnesota got the better hand when it came to that trade. I wanna see how that shit works out. If Memphis ever gets Marc Gasol over the pond and OJ's still around that squad might be something to reckon with. But Al + Love + Miller is gonna be something nice to look at.

I'm disgusted at the Pistons for signing bitchass Kwame Brown, but there's been this relatively recent trend of Wizards gone to Detroit who end up balling so I'm skeptical, even if in KB's case it's filtered through the Lakers.

Anyone notice how wack Kobe's been in the Olympics so far? 37% shooting, only one trey landed so far? Not very MVPish. But what the fuck do I know, I would've put Kaman in instead of Boozer if they were gonna be occupying the same roles they are right now.

Chris Bosh has been balling his ass off in his limited minutes btw. You don't even have to watch, just check the box scores. Dude's sicker than whatever bug got Steve Nash and B Diddy to ride a tandem bike together.

It's disgusting how the Clippers alienated Elton Brand.

I'm mad at my own squad. We didn't make any real moves while the rest of the conference got better - the Pacers, the Sixers, the Nets, jeez. I wouldn't be surprised to see us as an 8th seed next spring. Complacency is a motherfucker, especially when it's contingent on everyone being healthy. When is *everyone* healthy?

That Cleveland/OKC/Bucks trade will be interesting.

With Posey the Hornets should definitely make it to at least the conference finals next season. If they don't... I guess I owe Jason Kidd an apology and Byron Scott an awkward hug.

Eric Gordon will surprise people. His injury + the shenanigans behind the bench at Indiana last year made him look worse than he actually is. Kid's good.

Watch Joakim earn his way into a starting 5.

Beasley or Oden (can he still qualify?) = ROY.

true. rip hamilton was basically a nobody before the pistons got him, look at him now. good coaching?

this is true but he's not even having to play hard, the redeem team are kickin ass, kobe will step it up in regular season.. hopefully

Chris Bosh has been balling his ass off in his limited minutes btw.
very true... he's impressing me more and more. he's athletic, can handle the ball well, and plays with heart. if only he didnt play for the damn raptors

Watch Joakim earn his way into a starting 5.
i dont see that happening... he never does much to impress me. but it is the bulls... you might be right

Beasley or Oden (can he still qualify?) = ROY.

Ewing returns to MSG (Like Father, Like Son)

The Knicks are hoping that things will turn around by accquiring Patrick Ewing Jr from the Houston Rockets for Fredrick Wells.

D'antoni has his work cut out for him.
