224's ok if it was running fin before, just sort out the spyware
i found 8 spywares... it deleted 7 of them, the one left... which norton now throws up as a "HIGH RISK VIRUS ALERT" is -

Bloodhound.Exploit.6

i quaranteened it in Norton and then deleted it, and it still is showing up on the system...

Anyone help me and tell me how to get rid of this virus, ill rep and appreciate that ish

You might need to restart your PC in safe mode for Norton to successfully remove the Trojan. If you don't know how to start your PC in safe mode, read this.

If you're using Internet Explorer I strongly suggest you download Firefox and use that instead.

Why use firefox is because for me the one that invades your computer is mostly through Active X with Internet Explorer. Active X is where mostly all the new computer users click ok on everything and eventually have viruses and spyware on your computer. Also Firefox blocks popups for you much easier.

Also defrag your computer and you will see even more gain. To defrag your computer open up My Computer right click on your hard drive and go to properties. Click on the tools tab and click on defrag now.

disable virus scanner. you will see a huge speed improvement.

virus scanners are crap anyways. just make sure you know what ur downloading from. i can usually spot a virus infected file without a virus scanner.

If you'd been using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer you wouldn't have contracted the Bloodhound exploit in the first place.

The exploit was patched a while back, you can download the patch here. Norton might still say you have the virus even if you don't. Clear your cache and cookies in Internet Explorer.

and 256 MB of ram is ok, but i'm sure u would see a big difference if you were 2 upgrade to even just 512. Just need 2 buy one stick of 256 MB or RAM, would probably run ya for about 50 bucks or so, maybe less.
