Technology My new tablet laptop

'bout to order one of these, mainly for taking to Uni and making notes on.

2.0GHz processor, 1gb RAM, 100gb hard drive.

Anyone else got a tablet/convertible/hybrid?

I don't have one and I don't want one, to expensive and if i'm right this is a "subnotebook" without no DVD driver etc? Cause for some that's a good choice, for the things I need to do with my laptop, it's bad, I don't need no subnoebook.

As you can see from the picture it converts into a tablet, which you write on using a stylus.

Useful for taking notes and drawing 'n' shit.

No, this one comes with a CD/DVD reader and writer. Not that I'll use it to play (or burn) DVDs much (I have a portable DVD player). It's removable too, so if I want to make it a bit lighter I can take the optical drive out.

I have a laptop already, but it's not the most portable of machines. I wouldn't be able to take it to Uni with me, which is why I'm getting this one.
