Only 7 more days to wait. I havent looked forward to a fight like this in a long time. I have always thought oscar is too big for floyd. Floyd aint a big puncher, infact he throws marsh mallows(still a great fighter though) Floyd aint fought anyone as good as oscar before, but i belive oscar has fought fighters basically on the same level as floyd, mosely/trinidad (and a lot of other very good fighters in late ninties) ok he got beat by both, but against trinidad he just stepped of the gas to early, and oscar won the second fight with mosely.Floyd imo aint beaten the same caliber of opponents. My prediction is for oscar to KO floyd with booming left hook before round 8.

Just read that 50 cent is gonna be walking Mayweather into the ring.

Can't wait for this fight, hope it doesn't end up being a disapointment.

Funny mayweather has been talking a toe to toe battle, that will never happen he will be on his bike all night. If mayweather is to win it will have to be a decision and a clear one adopting his usual approach. But Oscar is no Baldomir, If he can establish his jab and bustle mayweather then he can catch him i have no doubt, left or right i'll take either! Judah managed it for 4 rounds but that guy had neither the knowledge or discipline to keep it up, Oscar can.

You been watching 24/7 ? mayweather acting the tough guy here, hilarious. And 50 cent has layed a mill on a mayweather victory. Now come on Oscar now there is another reason to do the business.

Mayweather hits the canvas at sum point , Oscar win by UD.

Ya I have been watching 24/7 also. Pretty good build up to the fight. I don't think oscar has it anymore. I'm not willing to pay $50 dollars to get it on PPV.

I've also been watching all the hype. Floyd is so disrespectfull he is gonna look like some asshole if he gets beat.

Crazy how in the states it costs $50 which is about £27(I think) yet in the UK we get it for £15.

Yeh $50 is kinda heavy, gotta commend sky for supplying this one for free :) , sky have been quite good of late showing the american fights. They went through a large dry spell and suffered a lot of shit for it i suspect and they bucked their ways up.

Word is BBC and Setanta might be in line for the Hatton/Castillo coverage, hope not. I would rather pay the £14 or wotever and get great coverage and commentary than the lousy coverage that bbc and Setanta provide.

stefanwzyga, if you use torrents mate and want to see the 24/7 episodes a few days early , the 3rd one is avalable now. Let me know if you need a link

It's on free on Sky Sports in the U.K?

Damn, that's dope, i thought it would've been on sky box office but props to sky if it's true.

Mayweather is a cocky punk but he's got the skills to back it up, i would love to see Oscar win but Mayweather will be just to fast for him, Mayweather to win on decision IMO.

A little dissapointed with the fight. It was quality stuff, but not the kind of fight i would watch often. I thought oscar was winning the fight, but the fight just fell away from him in the last few rounds. Il have to watch it again an score it though.

That was a great fight I thought. Oscar came out strong but he wasnt doin much, he started goin down hill at about the 5th round. I was goin for Mayweather so I'm happy. He did what he always does, goes Roy Jones and just does enough to win in the cards. Although Roy Jones does it to show off, its Mayweathers way of not being vulnerable to getting hit.

Now for the chess match that will be Hopkins vs Wright.

Is it true that both retired after the fight?

Floyd mayweather did. He said this was going to be his last fight a while ago. Never herd anything about De la hoya retiring. Floyd said he would be up for a rematch, i dont blame him, they would probally both get something like $20.000 000(probally a lot more) I dont see the outcome being any different though, i think oscars legs have gone.

I wonder why floyd dont seem interested in a fight with Shane mosely?

I thought De La Hoya might have just nicked it but i won't argue the decision, maybe only the 2nd judges card. Mayweather is talented and quick but its all so negative from him in the ring, not my kind of fighter at all. It was always gonna be a decision but i must say i was expecting a bit more.

In the post presser , Mayweather said he beat the best at every weight he has been at lol. Hmm, even at 140? me thinks not Floyd, was he the one to beat Kostya Tszyu?

A mosely fight would never of happened , i doubt he had even considered it. The fights he has chosen to take unfortunatly for him will make him a legend of the era, not a legend of all time which he deludes himself about constantly.

Next up i'm looking to Hatton/Castillo, and Judah/Cotto, Judah can hit (or used to be able to!) and both guys can be wobbled , i expect Cotto to win by ko tho and Judah will treat us to the Chicken dance extended version.
