Ok I'm stumpped, how do you convert .m4p files into any other media file. I think they are iTunes files, but I just downloaded them like this and I've tried all last night looking for a converter.

one time i burned a cd using itunes with some songs to give to my old roommate they were also in the m4p format. he did not have an ipod or itunes. i just gave him the cd and he transfered the files off of the cd and onto his computer. they played for him and transfered to his computer as an mp3(i think). so you could try burning them to a cd and then turn around and take the track off of the cd back onto your computer. i hope that made sense.

if worse comes to worse you could download itunes. its free.

dBpowerAMP music converter....try googling that or going to download.com for that....you'll need to dl an extension for it, but while you're at that codec site, just dl anything that has any of the files that you use...mp3, wma, mpeg, etc....it really helps in the long run...hope that helped...

try converting an m4p file with it...when you hit ok to start the conversion, and if it cant read the format of the file, it'll give you an error message saying that the format isnt supported, but it maybe available on their codec site...it'll give you alink to that site...then you're done...
