I think it's a great change. Didn't Le Guen lead Lyon to 2 or 3 Ligue 1 titles? He might bring something fresh to the team. I expect great things.

Since first time I heard the rumors about this I was delighted. Now, when I'm sure it's confirmed I'm looking forward to the future of a new and improved Rangers. Le Guen is one who established Lyon as a very powerful team, not only in France, but also in Europe. The Glasgow team will now have a new strategy on the field. We can expect end of Celtic domination and more Rangers games in European competitions. I wish all the best to the new manager!

It was confirmed last night. He said over the last year he's had some good job offers, but feels the Rangers one is great for him and his family.

Celtic aint been dominating! We have won 2 titles in the last 4 years. Although i do think Celtic has been a better team in recent years.

Im well chuffed.Im looking forward to seeing a stylish Rangers team playing quality football!:) I liked mcleish but felt under him we never played good football, although he only had a fraction of the money that Dick and Walter had.

I think it's good for Rangers but an un ambitious choice for Le Guen, might not even be playing CL football next year and the SPL is hardly a respected league.

Would've liked to see him at Newcastle or someone like that.

If we beat hearts on sunday we will make the CL.

He's only 42, he has plenty time to manage in the premiership.

Plus there aint half the pressure managing Newcastle as there is at Rangers!! If Newcastle finish 4th its been a great season, if we finish 2nd its a disgrace.

Its a great move for both parties, Rangers have one of the most respected coaches in Europe while Le Guen will be managing one of the biggest teams (commercially and fan base) in Europe.

According to oppinion of many people Le Guen made a mistake by choosing to lead the Rangers. But I'll challenge such views. This man knows what he's doing. He was succesful player, not one of the best, but very solid. What about this facts? He's got his coach license when he was only 24 while he was still playing. He also have a degree in economics. He made Lyon the biggest and the best French club. Before his arrival they were nothing. I'm telling you, this man planned his life very well. Wait and you will see what he'll make of Scottish giant!

Yeah one of the things im happy about is. He seems to be here for the long haul. He said in the papers today that there aint no reason why he wont be here for 15 years!!I dont expect that to happen, but he seems to have struck up a very good relationship with david murray. I thought he would stay for 3 years then bail out an go to the premiership. He even said maybe after Rangers he will quit football altogether. Atleast it dont seem like he's using us as a stepping stone.

I think it's a challenge, which is probably what he was looking for. Make Rangers a force in Europe, no mean feat.

He'd have had more resources, better players and more of a chance at a club like Newcastle. Not sayin it's a terrible move, but there's certainly better. If they don't get in the Champions League then he isn't involved in any credible competition and has actually moved down in terms of the quality of the league he is managing in. That's why a team like Newcastle would've been a better bet.

   Newcastle will be lucky to finish in the top half of the prem. Rangers should go on and clinch second spot in the league and be in the champions L. Anyway the premiership was done and dusted b4 christmas the scottish league is still not over by a longshot the top six all play each other in the last five games so anything can happen not even celtic are safe.
