ok, do you guys watch/know k-1 or its superleague ? im pretty much into it and think its WAY more interesting and entertaining than boxing.

are you into martial arts ? or do you think its just some unnecessary violent shit?

ps:
i just watched "fight club - k1 world grand prix" in osaka.
for those who dont know, k1 is a martial arts league thats pretty dope.

this swedish fighter, rickard nordstrand walks into the ring with "dear mama" as his song.
his oponent, karaev(russia), enters with eminem "mockinbird" (i think)

i was pretty surprised to not only hear some pac shit, but two deep songs chosen by the fighters. usually they enter with techno or more rough music, like dmx.

anyways, not too important, but i thought id share.

my opinion is pride is better then k1 if you dont kno what it is its ufc with alot better fighters. UFCs got like 3 good guys in each division then the rest sucks.

K1's a world-wide thing. Think they have a number of heats held in different countries, then there's a final, quite often in japan. Some of its coo as fuck but id agree with ufc bein better. The mixed martial arts thing is so much better to watch, from a technical perspective. Apart from when u get two strcit grapplers, then it jus looks like gays makin out.

Out of interest, anyone here do any martial arts and how serious?

Pride Fighting Championship is better than all the other leagues. They have the best fighters right now, and all fights are great. UFC's champ Arlovski was offered a contract to fight in Pride (rumour has it he will go to Pride) since UFC has no other fighters that are good enough for him, while Pride has a ton.
