And I must say, wow. I can't wait til the 22nd so I can go pick mine up. They had one at Best Buy everyone was playing, there was like a 20 people line just waiting to play it, kind of funny. I played Project Gotham Racing and Call Of Duty. The system is amazing. Something like I've never seen with game consoles, and well that is what you should expect. The box itself is kind of big but it's sleek looking and you can customize it so that is cool. The controllers I wasn't feeling that much. They are a little weird but you get used to them and they work out. Game play was incredible. Call of Duty blew me away, I can't even explain it you jsut have to paly it. Graphics are tight. The smoke, guns, bullets shooting, everything is damn near perfect. I was expecting a lot from X Box 360 but this is just crazy, I see my life wasting away for the next year on X Box 360 but that is ok.

Anyone else played it yet?

Yeah well I got 56k now which is wak but you know. I sold my car, and my brothers company gave him emergency insurance and bereavment(sp?) money so most of it is covered, with my car and the insurance. My brother bought me one with his disability checks he gets, so I thank all of you for mine, mwahahaha.

What'd your bro say about it, man I think its too tight. Gameplay is too incredible, ahh Im hyped.

Well so far the games havent got very good reviews. Alot of reviewers saying that the PC versions of Half Life 2 and Call Of Duty look better.

PC always will look better, the reasons consoles are getting better graphically is because PC's are too....

But 360 is supposed to be more powerful than any high end PC out, and produce better graphics.

I used to play CS on pc. I can care less what a pc will do. Have you ever tried playing something like madden or nba live on pc, it is wak. For something like this to be in my hands and come from a console and not a pc is tight, it might not be as good as something but its the best console out so far and, well, dont act like you wouldnt take it.

You do know that you can get dual analog controllers for PC right? So you can play Madden or NBA Live on the PC without using the keyboard, I play Madden 06 on my PC all the time and graphically it kicks the shit out of either PS2 or XBox

Games usually get better in the years following a consoles launch (look at early PS games and then check out the later releases), so games for the 360 should look amazing in another year or two considering how good they are looking now.

Can't wait for December 2nd :thumb:

Yes and no. It's got a 3.2 GHz tri-corePowerPC derivative w/SMT. so that's great, but not "more powerful than high-end PC"...Produce better graphics for a given game than PC? likely yes; due to it having a 500M/sec Polygon Performance as opposed to the XBox's mere 116.5M polygons/sec. Which, by the way, polygons mostly determine the "smoothness" of the shapes, as it's what the images are made up of, so a larger amount and faster fill-in rate means better-moving and better-looking. (not choppy, pointed graphics, i.e. square biceps)

The Xbox's Pixel-Fill-Rate is 3.7G/sec compared to 360's 16G/sec. The Box's Memory Bandwidth was only 6.4GB/sec while 360's is 22.4GB/sec...all of this will add up to superb graphics and accuracy (i.e. when sniping)

How much will xbox costs once it hits the stores?
The normal console will cost $399...The base unit or "Core System" will be $299.
