Connect the dots: DX returning

You may have noticed Shawn Michaels and Triple H cross paths last week on Raw as Triple H was leaving the ring and Michaels was on his way down as a guest referee. The two stopped and stared each other down for what seemed like minutes. Now, don't forget that these two have had some of the most brutal matches over the last few years. But before that, they were the top dogs in what was maybe the greatest faction in WWE history -- DeGeneration X. Michaels needs some help in his battle with Vince and Shane McMahon, and Triple H could be that man. He's now free to pursue other action after being unable to take the WWE title from John Cena last Sunday. I expect the two men to join forces and reunite as the foundation of a new DX, possibly at the Vengeance pay-per-view on June 25.
AROUND THE RING: WWE has confirmed that Sabu, Jazz, Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney and C.W. Anderson have signed deals to join ECW for its June relaunch. ... Jim Ross will return to full-time duty as a "Raw'' announcer this Monday ... Trish Stratus will miss at least six weeks of action after suffering a separated shoulder at the Backlash pay-per-view. ... Coach will be back on WWE TV in the coming weeks with a new character.
