Colts | James feels his Colts' days are over

Mike Chappell, of the Indianapolis Star, reports Indianapolis Colts RB Edgerrin James has resigned himself to the fact he won't be with the team in 2006. "I don't see nothing happening,'' he said Thursday night, Feb. 2, after a taping session in Detroit with the NFL Network. "You can read between the lines and from the things I'm hearing, nothing's going to happen." The team had no comment on James' statements. When the veteran free agent market opens March 3, he'll see who's interested in a consummate running back who has rushed for a club-record 9,226 yards and amassed 12,065 total yards from scrimmage. "Maybe I'll get to a situation where somebody appreciates me,'' James said. "I'm going to always be a ballplayer. You know I've got game. You can't knock what I do."

Naw the Colts still have the chance of going to the big game with or without James, its just the defense that I still suspect. When they want to play they play. I really don't see James going to another team if Manning becomes vocal about it.

if he goes to Arizona, they'll be one of the best offenses in football

Kurt Warner (Arizona wants to re-sign Warner from what I've heard), Fitzgerald and Bolden, James

that'd be a good offense

of all the fuckin places, james will go to the cards??? yes they're offense is good, but their defense??? how many games did they win, how many will they win, and are they really a contender?? i think james should stick with the colts.....there was an evident drop in peyton using wayne and stokley and using james instead...
