Israeli forces have attacked a flotilla of aid-carrying ships aiming to break the country's siege on Gaza.

At least 19 people were killed and dozens injured when troops intercepted the convoy of ships dubbed the Freedom Flotilla early on Monday, Israeli radio reported.

The flotilla was attacked in international waters, 65km off the Gaza coast.

I hoped you guys can let go of your Islam-bashing route to comment on this happening. Just for the moment. I promise you can go to your Ayaan Hirsi Magan Ali thingy right afterwards.

^^even if they had knives and clubs, they didnt need to kill them and i saw parts of the video of it on the news and they were beating an old man.

It seems like a case of Israel showing who's boss. There better be repercussions from this.

lets not forget that passport forging incident either.

^^ no i meant Israel.. in the sense that, even if the protestors supposedly had "knives and clubs", Israel cannot proclaim they killed 19 people out of self defense.

this shit sickens me. and NO ONE will do anything about this because the Jewish lobby has infiltrated the highest facets of society. makes me fucking sick man.

fuck israel. run by a bunch of fucking Zionists who have no regard for anyone but themselves, and have been paying lip service to a peace agreement for the past few decades. they have this sense of entitlement because of the holocaust. enough is enough man.

This wouldn't be the first time Israel showed some unprovoked aggression. This will undoubtedly come to pass though just as most of the things Israel does passes and is "swept under the rug."

Just like the Dubai-killing, UN-school bombing, the slaughter of a Palastinian family on gaza beach, the wars of 2006 and 2008...The world will act like they give a shit, while the United States make sure Israel wont get any repercussion. Just some stupid investigation with an outcome of what we already know.

Keep feeding muslim-terrorists with the hatred they need, America :thumb:

Stop spreading anti-Israeli propaganda. I don't have that much love for Israel or their fanatic settlers, but let's not jump on reactionary bandwagons without applying some objective critical thought. Here are things that need to be considered. There is a blockade in effect. Every ship will be challenged and boarded if there is a question about their intentions, identity, or cargo. The Turkish group sponsoring this "aide," the IHH, is a radical organization with ties to Hamas, which have been trying to import weapons to the Palestinians. This ship was not being cooperative with the Israelis, who offered to deliver the aide themselves, so they boarded. In the video of it, you can see these "peaceful" humanitarian aid workers pummeling the soldiers as they come down from the helicopter with pipes and knives. If I was one of those soldiers, everyone with a pipe and knife in their hand is getting shot, just like they would if that situation happened to cops in the US (I know, they're racist pigs too, probably Israelis undercover).

This was a political set-up by the enemies of Israel who wanted this confrontation. Now they're sending 2 more "aid" ships in hopes of further Israeli condemnations when they challenge those ships and do whatever is necessary. If it was the US and a ship with ties to al Qaeda wanted to enter NY harbor without going through the strictest examination, they would hopefully be blown out of the water. I don't care how many old people, or women and children those hypocrites packed the ship with. Martyrs to the cause.

I honestly think both parties are at fault in this never ending war. Both parties are being immature and stubborn. I don't even follow it anymore. That shit is getting ridiculous.

This is the stupidest reply i have seen from you so far. I can't believe you even replied like this. Your "playing the devil's advocate part" does not work well here.

First, the ship was in international waters, second, Gaza is a under Palestinian authority and not under Israel's authority.
Gaza is under siege and and as you said a blockade is enforced by Israel to starve the Palestinians in Gaza for the simple fact that they voted Hamas into authority.

Anyway, this is nothing but bullshit if you actually think that way.

Killing 19 people does not help anyone. But, i guess people rather see blood spilled.

The killings all reportedly happened on the main aid ship, the Mavi Marmara. Israeli news accounts suggest that at least nine and as many as 16 of the civilians on the ship were killed by Israeli commandos. The Israeli government says the killings were in self-defense.

If you say so!

btw that's from CNN

Did you happen to forget that Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005 on condition that they would be more secure? Instead 3,000+ rockets were aimed at their homes between 2005 and 2008. That’s why Israel insisted on a naval blockade of the Gaza Strip. Because that's where all the rocket smuggling was taking place.

If you say so bud. I do not need to discuss this at all. The palis are wrong, Israel is right. Wipe out all of the Palistinians. Happy now?

military occupation ended (momentarily) in 2005, but this did not prevent them from controlling everything that happened within Gaza.. This includes controlling anyone, anything and everything that came in and out of the Gaza strip. It was, in essence, still an Occupation albeit without a "military presence".
Essentially everything had to be approved by the Israeli army.

This still sounds like an occupation to me.

Look, Israel, as always, exxagerated in their actions. They went in hard and fast and probably didn't care a whole lot if one of those "activisits" put up a fight and got shot.

But the way everyone jumps on this with their own anti-Israel propaganda is sickening. Like a bunch of starving vultures.
