I use Mozilla and firefox as well as opera. And the only browser that Iv'e found to block the popups on this forum is IE7.

Yes... but all other spyware targets microsoft products because the majority of people have windows and use IE.
Why do you think that there aren't so many viruses for macs. because microsoft dominated the market and thus is a target for hackers.
So IE pretty much follows the same principle.
