bach? he claims the yankees, even though he's been on big papi's nuts and hates on his own teams stars

but yes, he doesn't have much of a life. and seems to get bent out of shape over a simple thread title change

Ortiz is the MVP.He is better hitter then Jeter.Whether you want to see this as me riding on his nuts or not,He is the best hitter.Actually you're riding Jeters nuts, because ten people tell you Jeter is not,you still say otherwise.

The only player i dislike is gay-rod.Don't put 'star' in plural.

ortiz isn't a better hitter, he's a better slugger

how is hitting .280 better than hitting .335?

you don't even have baseball terminology down correctly

Ortiz is better clutch hitter.Thats what counts the most when it comes to MVP.Hes hitting .287,not .280.Can't even copy off the paper.

Hes on his way to 60HR season and over 150RBI.Month ago you was saying he was gonna have same season as last,he gonna have much monster season.

I dont want to say New York is getting or has gotten to A Rod but damn, he is crubmling it seems. Its like everytime he goes out he disappoints himself so he tries harder the next time and fails making worse his problem. He is a great talent but fuck what is wrong with him.

a-rod tries too hard

he just needs to realize he can't hit a home run every at-bat

and it seems that this year he's been trying to hit to the opposite field way too much.

either way, jeter > ortiz

so how come A-rod has two MVPs again?
Thats because there are people like you who have no life who sit on comp and vote again and again.Just like you edit my posts here.I'm glad you see A Rod is no clutch hitter.

Stop dragging your A Rod into the conversation.

Anyway,Ortiz > Jeter.

no, you said MVPs are about clutch hitting. you state that as a FACT, not as an opinion.

well A-rod has two MVP's and has been runner up a few times, so obviously either A-rod has had clutch moments before, or you're statement is wrong.

which one is it?

well, ortiz only started doing well the past 3 seasons, including this one, so it might be a while...

jeter and a-rod have been doing this all their careers..

Yes,true MVP should be about clutch hitting. But a player could still put up huge numbers but not much clutch moments and still win. That was the case last year.A-Rod put up huge numbers but Ortiz beat him in clutch moments but A-Rod still won.

In any sport its about winning. Baseball is very team oriented but Ortiz has won for that team over and over, I mean I dont see how you couldnt give Ortiz the MVP this year. You couldnt really go wrong with Jeter either, and that is just batting. Put the defense on top of what Jeter does at the plate and you have a strong strong case. I just think Ortiz is the more valuable player for his team.
