i was trying to d/l 2pac live at tha house of blues and it is 102 mb's. i was d/l it at 4.20 kbs. i had d/l about 21 mb's and all of a sudden it says it's done and it plays but really it only plays tha 21 mb's.

why didn't it d/l and how can i make it d/l fully, and is there anyway to make tha d/l go faster.

If you are downloading at a rate of 4.2 kbs I am guessing you have a 56k modem. Some problems is with a 56k and large downloads it will just hang up in which it probably happened to you. Also this is a long shot what type of file is your file. does it end with .rar, .zip? If so decompress it with winrar.com. But like I sais it is a longshot and I really doubt it.

The only way for you to make your connection go faster get dsl. Here in California it is $19.95 a month with SBC.

yes i have 56.6. no it isn't a rar or a zip. i'm in cali and i tried to get dsl but it really fucked up my computer and i had to reboot .

Give SBC another try. They have to send a technician down to your house if you can't set it properly or if it just doesn't want to work. Trust me the porn you get on dsl is magical. I can barely see my monitor with all the man juice on it.

haha, they sent a guy to my apartment and he couldn't figure it out. he said that dsl doesn't work well with windows xp.

Doesn't work well with Windows XP? The person should be fired on the spot. Almost everyone is using XP now. Ask again and see if it can be installed again.

Damn that guy is a fucking moron...dsl works with XP lol call them back and complain. He just doesnt want to figure it out.

Try a dl manager maybe like download accelerator that's all I can think of it's happend to me also on large downloads

No, I don't know maybe it'll do the same as download accelerator does, does it allow you to dl so much of a file an then you can continue it at another date? If not I suggest you use this

Dsl saved my life. Try downloading a game at 350 mb. It took me 3 months to finish the download on kazaa. Now its only 15 minutes away.
