While this series is going on The Clippers are resting nice :thumb:

Also I just heard on tv that Phil Jackson is 44-0 or something like that when leading a series. Truthfully I want the Lakers to win so that The Clippers have a better chance of winning the series,

I hate the fans that were quick to come up with the Lakers/Clippers threads. And the Lakers are back threads. They jinxed it. The series wasnt fucking over.

And dont get me started on Smush Parker. He has to be the stupidest player in the playoffs. How hard is it to keep Nash in front of you? To stop going UNDER pick and rolls? Im pissed at Phil also. This was the Lakers game. Bench Parker and play Vujacic. At least Sasha is able to pressure Nash and keep the ball away from his hands.

'How hard is it to keep Nash in front of you?"

Serious?

Also if he goes under the screen then his teammate should step up, which they did usually this game and then Parker got beat inside, which happened. This isn't Parkers fault.

It is the Laker teams fault for playing the Suns game, running the court and scoring that much. Kwame went 8 for 9, which means he got good looks and made easy baskets when he touched the ball. Lamar drove to the basket and made lay up after lay up but still continued to test his luck with his jumper. If the Lakers want to win game 7 they need to get back to poundin the boards, hittin the paint, and slowin down the Suns by puttin them in the half court set. I still think the Lakers will win.

Parker still hasnt shaken the playoff jitters. He is a liability on both offense and defense. That nigga has to go. Its like the Lakers are playing 4 vs 5 out there.

One of the problems now is, whether Kobe's teammates still think he trusts them? It was obvious in last night's game that Kobe wanted to score by himself because he wanted to end the series right there so bad. And why? Because he didn't think his teammates could do it. That's probably going to have a great impact on their level of confidence.

Agreed, they didn't execute the gameplan they had in the games they won. I think the suns have a good chance now to overcome their slow start.

Are you serious? Kobe kept giving the ball to Kwame on the inside but he kept fumbling. Kwame and his small hands had 2 passes go out of bounds yet they were scored as 2 turnovers for Kobe. Smush played 41 minutes. 0 for 5 FG. 0 rebounds. Parker needs to play with some balls. Kobe was keeping them in the game. He had a low scoring first half only because he tried to get his team involved. He didnt start looking for his shot until the second half.

I'm only saying this once, if Kobe Bryant was on ANY other team but the LA Lakers, you would all be hyping him as THE greatest. There would be no argument. There would be no classless "rapist" remarks, all of you would be calling him "courageous" for going out and playing every night if he was, say, a Knick. Real talk.

Whatever happens in game 7 (I'm not a fairweather fan, win or lose, I will always be a proud Laker supporter, and I think that's what pisses people off most), this season will be a success for two reasons:

#1-The Knicks' record this year;)
#2-The Sonics' record this year;);)

About the last game (I paced around @ work for my whole break, about a step away from punching a muthafucka out, it was a rough night anyway, so Thomas' 3 at the end of the 4th just pushed me over the edge), I still don't understand why the Lakers neither fouled Phoenix at the end of the 4th, or played man-to-man at the 3-point line. You give up two points, and you still stay up by one (or more if you put Phoenix at the line, possibly).

Also, it doesn't make a difference whining about it now, but with 6.8 left, what's with the fadeaway shot? LeBron's won two games this postseason by driving to the hoop, and he can't split the D as well as Kobe can. They were in LA, they had a better chance of getting a call if they drove to the hoop. Oh well, they are going to have to play above themselves in game 7, if they win, most fans'll call it a "badly officiated" series, if they lose, most fans'll call it a "major meltdown". Lose-lose situation, so you might as well be criticized when you win, than when you lose, yeah?

Sorry, the GREATEST is and will be Michael Jordan. The rapist is not on the top 5, ahead of him would be Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Jerry West, Michael Jordan & Wilt Chamberlain. The rapist would be around 15 to 20 on my list.

The good thing about Kobe is that he is still young so he has alot of years to prove himself. If he wins a championship by himself that will prove and say to the nay-sayers that he is a legend on his own. The MVP award ain't nothing without a ring and it doesn't matter what team Kobe is.

My post was reffering to late 4th quarter and OT, only.

Magic is and always will be the greatest player of all-time, Jordan is the greatest scorer of all-time (that one is debatable, though). I just said you would all be hyping Kobe as the greatest, because people are very quick to crown a new king of everything.

Beside the point, I just had to show my loyalty to Magic, best all-around player of ALL-TIME. Kobe wouldn't be in my top twenty yet, but if the NBA ever updates their "50 Greatest Players" list, he definitely belongs on there, it's time to kick Scottie Pippen's ass off the list.

Beside the point, though, sorry.

Nobody can't neglect what Kobe did in Colorado. I don't know why, but that, from time to time, comes to my mind when Lakers play. I remember that 'glorious moment' of his career so I'm 'blinded by hate'. Beside that, Kobe is the great player, probably the best active player in the NBA.
Also, I never liked Jackson's way of coaching (although he had many Championships won) and how he settled many things. I was huge Lakers fan but it was all over when they traded Vlade Divac in Charlotte for Kobe Bryant. I don't doubt who's better player but in that time Vlade was foundation of that team. (Anybody remember verbal duels between Divac and Bryant during the play off series.) I was starting to consider rejoining again when they got Vlade back from Sacramento but Divac's career was about to end. And, then Jackson came back...
I liked Phoenix and I'm still their fan (it started with Charles Barkley back in the days :) ) But, Sacramento will forever have special place in my heart. I think that Lakers are the only reason why they didn't become champions during Divac and Webber era. Jackson has his hands in that.
