I think the Colts are going to win the superbowl this year

they've caught up with the Patriots (or should I say the Patriots declined drastically), I don't think the Steelers will repeat, they're better than the Bengals, Jaguars, Dolphins, Bills and Jets. I don't see any teams in the AFC West that can compete with them etc.

The only team I think can match up with well their offense is Baltimore, who will pitch more shut-outs this season than the entire Red Sox and Yankees pitching staff's put together.

I just don't see how the Colts can fuck it up this time, atleast in MAKING the superbowl.

Neither can I, they put points on the board fast through passing, and once they're up, they start to run the ball. They're showing me I made the right choice for my AFC pick.

how are they better than last year without edge?? i mean, rhodes and addai, i guess are two quality RBs, and that's enough to make up for james, but they gotta be consistent.... it's only the 2nd week...

hmmm, i don't know, i haven't seen any proof that they aren't gonna choke yet again. i don't blame Manning for all the chokes tho, i mean with last year, Manning didn't miss that field goal, Vandershank did. but people still wanna blame Peyton. i was sure when they went 13-3 they were gonna go all the way, but they didn't. so i'm not picking them this year. my pick? Chicago. i mean who would have thought that defense would actually be better this year? and they have an offense now too.

i think the bears played two shitty teams in a row.... i think the vikings will be a good reference point to see where the bears offense really stands

true, you have a point there. and i shouldn't have said they are my pick, what i really meant is that they are an early favorite. i'm not going to make any official predictions until at least week 4, when i have a better picture of where all the teams stand and what they can do. but as of now i'm sticking with Da Bears

I dont think the colts will ever winit with manning
well Manning has choked a few times, but people always blame him when the Colts lose, whether it's his fault or not. like i pointed out in an earlier post, Manning didn't miss that kick in the AFC championship game last year, and even though he didn't play his best game against them, they were certainly on the comeback trail. if that game had gone into overtime, who knows what would have happened? i can think of other situations where his teammates choked but Manning got the blame. i do think the Colts will get there, with Manning, i'm just not sure if this is the year.

people said the same thing about John Elway
Dont give John Elway credit for one of the best seasons a running back has ever had and an amazing offensive line. Haha, I hear to much already as it is out here.

The Colts might be real this year, I just dont think they are. We will find out this week though when they play the Jags. But I'm thinking and wanting Cinci to rep this year.

john elway 1997 (16 games): 3635 yards, 280 reception/502 attempts (55.8 completion), 27 touchdowns, 11 interceptions

john elway 1998 (13 games): 2806 yards, 210 reception/356 attempts (59 completion), 22 touchdowns, 10 interceptions

Those are great years for a quarterback, not all of it was on Terrel Davis

Yeah but you know as well as I that a great running game opens up a lot of throwing for any QB. Im not tryin to take anything away for him, I just hate hearin his name, ahha.

You gonna dispute me saying Jags > Colts?
