There you have it.They got knocked out by Tigers.

Johnson yesterday got knocked.8 Hits, 5 runs in 5.2 innings.

Mr.Wright in 2 innings 5 hits 3 runs 2 HR's.Then Lidle comes in for 1 inning gives up 3 runs.

What did i told you and what have i been telling you for some time now?Yankees not gonna win with this type a pitching. No matter who you bring.Bring in Bonds and Pujols and Cabrera they still wont win if they don't have good starting and reliver pitching.

Did i not mention K-Rod AKA A-Cock's performance. If you even gonna call that a performance. He went 1 for 15 the whole series.I repeat, 1 for 15.The suppose hall of famer and HR king and whatever you wanna call him puts up that kind of numbers in playoffs not only this year but last year too is just unexcusable. Its safe to say he is a garbage player officially.Fuck A-Rod.I've been saying and will continue to say it as long as hes playing with Yankees.Trade him, drop him or do whatever, hes not worth all that money if hes isn't gonna do anything for you in clutch and playoffs.

this offseason is going to sting, bye bye sheffield* and jaret wright. hello phillip hughes

nice to see you continue with your infatuation with A-rod (who on earth calls him "a-cock", seriously? thats so gay sounding)

Posada 7/14,Abreu 5/15 including that 4 rbi in first game, and Damon too had big 3 run home run.And Jeter 8/16.

K-Rod 1/15.Giambi 1/8.Cano 2/15.Sheff 1/12.Matsui 4/16.

Why were Tigers able to beat us?Because they had good pitching.

The bottom line is after you give up six to eight runs, you can't expect to come back from it and outscore the opponent and win the game.So to prevent that situation from happening, you pitch good and keep the opponent at low.Yankees coudln't do that.

I've fallen for the hype before like the beginning of this season some of you going owpte owpt i cant wait for the season to start im ready, whatever it is let it be and i've said NO we're not ready. We need more changes. We need pitchers. But none of you believed me.So thats why i was never happy and was constantly critizising Yankees and some of you even doubt if i was a Yankee fan.I'm no fool,i'm not gonna start cheering until we have it good.

It has been a 6 years now since last ring.Every year has been excuses. Why can't they get it all together 100% and then start playing?

Oh,A-Cock,i saw somebody else say it and thought it matches him perfectly.

Wasn't it Ass-Rod at one point? lol
That too.Anything goes.

Now he can stay at home and not worry about getting hit by a baseball anymore.Instead he can do his manicure and pedicure all offseason.

Theres a word out that Joe Torre is expected to be fired by George Steinberger soon and replaced by Lou Panella.

Wow..Torre has nothing to do with recent Yankees failures. This is bull shit.Perhaps he should fire K-Rod.

are you crazy?

giambi was great this year
posada was solid
mussina was solid for the most part..fell off a little, but still worth keeping around
villone was the only bright spot in the bullpen

Yes i am.

Giambi,Posada,Mussina were all good yes but they need to go.Yankees need fresh start.Fresh legs.It seems like even since they got to Yakees they've been cursed except for Posada. But sometimes you have to give up something very valuable in order to win.I think its worth giving up these old rotten players as valuable as they are in exchange for new young fresh players.

lol I can bet you right at this moment that you'll loose with that pitching only next year too.How are you gonna win with Zito only?Consider Mussina will do same or less.

Randy, guys 40 some years old.He can loose his left arm at any given pitch.

Mariano can't eat up all relieve innings by himself.

Who the hell is matsuzaka?lol Did you get mixed up MLB players with your illusional fantasy league or something.

Highly regarded pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka was given permission by the Seibu Lions on Tuesday to pursue a career in the major leagues.
Matsuzaka, who has drawn interest from several major league teams including the New York Yankees, finished the 2006 regular season with a career-high 17 wins against five losses.
The 26-year-old right-hander posted a 2.13 earned-run average and 200 strikeouts.
Matsuzaka has long been considered one of the brightest prospects in Japanese professional baseball.
Seibu is expected to use the posting system in which major league teams present bids for Japanese players and the highest bidder wins the negotiating rights. Ichiro Suzuki signed with the Seattle Mariners under the same system.
Matsuzaka is still one year away from becoming a free agent.
In his eight-year career in Japan, Matsuzaka has led the Pacific League in wins three times and in strikeouts four times while winning the ERA title twice and the Sawamura Award, Japan's version of the Cy Young Award, once.
Matsuzaka impressed major league scouts when he helped Japan win the inaugural World Baseball Classic title last March and was named MVP of the tournament.
