Homemade protein bar recipie

Everyone knows that retail protein bars are full of shit, so here's a quick and good tasting recipie that can be made yourself,

ingredients: 260g or 8 oz fat-free cream cheese
5 scoops protein powder (I used strawberry Met-rx Whey)
1/4 cup splenda
dash of cinnamon
3 cups whole oats
1/4 cup water

Combine cream cheese, protein powder, splenda and cinnamon in a bowl and mix until it's smooth. Next, add the oats and water and blend until you have a homogeneous mixture. Spread the mixture in a pan. The mixture should be about an inch thick and evenly spread. Put the pan in your fridge for a couple of hours. When they're cold and solid, cut them into nine equal size bars. Each bar will have the following:

190 cals, 20g protein (depending on strength of your protein powder), 20g carbs, 2.5g fat

If you want choc flavour just use choc flavoured whey protein instead of strawberry, you can make any flavour you like :hungry: . You could try and use something other than cream cheese if you can find something with roughly the same nutritional value and the same consistency, because the cream cheese really is the key ingredient for holding it all together, I have never used anything else so I don't know sorry man.
