Ballack will leave Munich and signs a contract with Chelsea :(
In the papers today they said that Jose wants Ballack but Peter Kenyon was pushing to sign Beckham. Supposedly Mourinho's out-of-favour with Abramovich, but I dunno. Probably just the papers talking.

Re: Ballack

He probably will go but I can't see him being too patient if he's on the bench or doesn't regularly play full games. Which means either Lampard, Essien or Makalele are going to have to sit out. Unless, Chelsea change their system and adopt a more centralised formation, but that'll mean sacrificing Cole, Duff or Robben. With their "let's buy everyone so our opponents can't" attitude Chelsea are causing themselves problems...which is good :thumb:

in my opinion Ballack and Lampard are the same type of player so i dont know why he would want to join Chelsea.

but Ballack is better than Essien and Makalele, so basically he should play regularly. the problem is, Ballack and Lampard playing at the same time wont work that well i guess.

You have me scared there a bit.

I wouldn't sign Ballack to Chelsea to play for Makalele because Makalele is better. why fix it if its working the way it is anyway?

Totally different types of players. Makalele is better at what he does, Ballack is better at what he does.

And Chelsea would most probably want to buy him, so they have better depth in their squad and so no-one else can.

So its Makalele who gots to go. it was his fault they lost to Barca?

Two, cham league isn't your main concern. they still have premier league and they have that in their hands. you droping a player for no reason.

Are you saying BeReal is a Chelsea fan

Chelsea want to win the CL, Makalele is a great player, but if they buy Ballack i can see him being dropped, and probably play Essien, Lampard, Ballack in the middle, with two wingers and Drogba/Crespo upfront.

They won't drop Essien because of his price tag.

Kenyon's all about the money. He's the scum of the earth. If it wasn't for him, you'd be watching Ronaldinho in a Manchester United shirt every weekend.

Anyway, if Ballack goes to Chelsea then he's a mercenary. Plain and simple.

It's not Chelski's midfield that isn't working, they need a at least one World Class striker, at the moment they have none.

And why's that? Maybe he wants to win something for his career, he's gonna get paid well whether he goes to Chelsea, Utd, Milan, wherever.

What Chelsea really need are some full backs who don't get a nose-bleed when they cross the half way line and a genuine World class striker that suits their style of play, i.e. Adriano.

My point exactly. He's more interested in lifting a trophy than actually playing football. If he cared about playing football then he'd go to a team that would play him regularly.

What Chelsea really need [is] a genuine World class striker that suits their style of play, i.e. Adriano.
If Crespo goes I can see Mourinho bringing in a striker, which is a shame. Up until now their strikeforce has been the one point where United were clearly better than them.

Still, Ruud + Rooney + Saha + Rossi > Adriano + Drogba + Gudjohnsen + Carlton Cole
