Technology Help with data cd

#1
So i burned a data cd with some video clips on it, but now for some reason when i put the disc in my computer it won't play it and it reads the cd rom drive as empty. I haven't had a problem with this until now. Any help?

maybe the session was not closed.this will cause your cd to read empty.which burning program do you use?they all should have an option somewhere to see all the sessions and be able to finalize or close them

I used the realplayer gold edition, and i closed the cd when i burned it i didn't create a multi session disc. i did get the disc to play eventually but now everytime i want to play it i have to go to my computer, click on properties of my cd rom drive, go to autoplay and set it to video files whereas before i never had to

hmm, thats weird,i never fucked with realplayer so i dont know how that shit works.u can try to download nero and see if the session is still open then close it

nah, realplayer works good, the pro version works just as well as any other burning program i've used. it works the same as nero, you have the option to finalize the disc or leave it as a multi session disc so you can burn on it again later.
