frank thomas, manny ramirez, alex rodriguez, albert pujols, ken griffey, wade boggs, tony gwynn, michael young, hedeki matsui, ichiro suzuki to name a few
Blah, none of them are great hitters(edit great home run hitters, griffey fo course). A-Rod could be, same with Pujols but thats like me saying a little leaguer isn't juicing. Way too early and after the steroid boom you could say.
PTI also said that steroids would be best for pitchers and if it is in the minors why would it not be in the majors, but the main reason was that there re coop time is like cut in half on steroids but yeah.
Thing is, Baseball will recognize these records no matter how much people cry, he did it, he swung the bat, how are we to know how much someone is or was taking steroids, maybe it was an off season workout program (haha) but these records will still go down in history tarnished or not.
THe 1/8th of an inch thing is in an interview with Barry, he really clears it up, i think it was in 2003 or 04 maybe, ehh not sure.
Bout the Ichiro thing, he is probably my favorite player right now and is just amazing to watch. But you said 60+ at bats, that would of been roughly 20+ hits maybe. Ehhh. But anyways why discredit what he did? Why try to make it be not a big accomplishment, he just reached 1000+ hits faster than anyone, what can you say about that to discredit his success. Plus it's not like you can't tell me you don't see him breaking his own single season hit record.
But whatever.
