His hat size hasn't changed but a 1/8th of an inch his whole career.
People need to stop making comparison from the 80's Barry to the 2000's Barry, were talking 15-20 years to put on muscle and shit, you see a gradual change, no big deal. So he used steroids, name one great hitter from this era who hasn't (Griffey, i'll do it too, still). Pitchers were using steroids more than anyone, PTI guys will back me up on that. People need to stop that hating and realize that Babe Ruth will be second to Barry after a year, no big deal. Records are made to be broken, get over it.

wheres your source on this? I've read it grew two sizes on ESPN.com and Baseballfever.com before...

PTI was refering to minor league baseball testing in 2005, theres no way to know how things were going on in 2001.

PTI also said that steroids would be best for pitchers and if it is in the minors why would it not be in the majors, but the main reason was that there re coop time is like cut in half on steroids but yeah.
Thing is, Baseball will recognize these records no matter how much people cry, he did it, he swung the bat, how are we to know how much someone is or was taking steroids, maybe it was an off season workout program (haha) but these records will still go down in history tarnished or not.

Thomas, Manny and A-rod aren't great home run hitters despite having over 400 homers each (while also maintaining higher career batting averages than Bonds)? Manny is only 33 for christ sakes and hes got 410, A-rod is only 30 and hes got 409
