so i changed to mozilla and was actually starting to like it until recent events took place. by your advice i changed from ie, however, it is good that i did not fully transform. as you know i have already had a problem using it which you helped me fix, now i stretch my arm out and beg for you to put food in it once more. whenever i log into hotmail i get taken to a white page. it works fine in ie. fix. ktnx. :)

thanks.

i would probably use mozilla, but i cant since the broker software that i use doesnt work properly on mozilla.its java based but it shows up fucked up on the screen. not just on this machine,my other 2 machines too.

i like the tabs thing though, and it lags less than ie IMO.

Post a screenshot. Works fine for me.

FYI, you can't "fully transform" from IE to Firefox. You can't uninstall IE. Besides, you need to keep it around for the occasions you come across a site that the idiot owner hasn't configured to work with non-IE browsers.

Thats thats when I use Netscape 8.1. Because with Netscape 8.1 you can choose between different rendering engines. So you can either you Gecko or IE. For example If you enable the IE redering engine you can use Windows Update with the Netscape browser. :thumb:

u CAN unintsall IE...but u run into a world of shit. Not recommended
lol... you can not unistall IE. IE is an intergral part of windows in 98,me,2000,xp,and 3003 server. The only 2 versions of windows you can unistall IE from is windows 95 and NT4.0.
You see it all stated in 1997 with internet explorer 4. Internet explorer 4 came bundled with this new feature called desktop update.

What desktop update did was change the user interface of windows 95 and NT 4.0 from the 95 user interface to the now Integrated Internet Explorer interface. In 1998 windows 98 came bundled with IE 4.0 and completly did away with the 95 GUI. Then IE 5.01 in 98se, 5.5 in ME and 5.01 in 2000, 6.0 in xp. Any way the Idea back in 1997 was microsoft thought it was a good idea to make browsing files on your computer as easy as browsing the web so they turned windows into a web browser. Some utilities such as 98 Lite claim that they can remove IE from 98 but in all honesty any MS OS after 95 or NT4.0 you can not remove IE. Two reasons why you can not remove IE are if you removed IE how would you browse for files on your computer? If you removed IE how would your computer even start after all windows depends on IE to run.
