tried it with internet explorer, same thing happened. im thinking maybe it's a codec error of some kind. i have the kazaa codec pack installed though, and this problem came out of nowhere. i don't understand lol. i'm gonna try removing and re-installing the codec though, that might fix it.

re-installing the codec makes it work on the first website with a video on it that i vist after i install the codec. it's like re-installing the codec allows me to view a video on a web site once, then stops working and gives me the error again.

Can it possibly be the Kazaa codec that is making your computer go FUBAR? I don't have this kazaa codec thing and I can see every video and every format. Update your wmp to version 10 (I think thats the latest) delete the Kazaa codec again, update firefox. I believe in wmp10 it automatically finds the codecs for you for the file you want to play.
