Galloway's full of lies. He cites thousands of Lebanese prisoners that don't exist. He falsely accuses Israel of occupying Lebanon over the last 6 years (obviously a reference to the Farms). He accuses the US of giving Israel nuclear weapons etc.
The guy is a shock jock. Entertaining, but full of it. I think he spent too much time visiting Saddam in 2002.

No, what i think the poster was getting at was this, Iran is Persian not arab, and Iran has a much better military then most of their arab neighbors, quite a few of Irans weapons an equipment is made by them, where as say Iraq got most of theirs from the U.S. and Russia. Iran wouldnt be a 30 days an its over war, ask the Iraqies who fought them in the 80's, very well trained an supplied military unlike say Saddam era Iraq. Anyway the talk of Iran nuke'n Israel is ridiculous, no matter what the Iranian president says, it wont an wouldnt happen, he's smart enough to know that his country would cease to exsist should he use nuculear weapons.
As far as the Galloway interview i think he makes valid points, of course the pro Israeli lobby will try an discredit him as always, anyway tired of arguing over shit like this, like I said before its like debating with a brick wall, everyone has their beliefs and supports whom they choose or who fits their cause, so be it, leave it at that!

Same reason why no other country is allowed to create nuclear weapons today, we're trying to get rid of them not make more. Look at India and Pakistan, both countries have a rough relationship and almost ended in nuclear war, we don't need anymore of that crap in the world.

I don't think there is or ever really was a realistic military option regarding Iran, by either the Western allies or Israel. For years Iran has had ballistic missiles with reach to Europe, Russia and Israel. And they had chemical weapons in the 80s.
From the standpoint of international law, Israel's not a signatory of the Non Nuclear Proliferation Treaty. Iran and North Korea are and were respectively.
I think substate groups, most likely Al Qaeda, are the biggest nuclear risk. If they managed to get a nuke into an American city, how could the US respond? They're a decentralized group spread over dozens of countries. Ironically, Israel is most likely to avoid getting nuked due to its close proximity to the Palestinians. After all, if everyone is fighting to establish a Palestine, turning it into a radioactive wastefield doesn't really serve their purposes.

Trying to get rid of them, well u know for a fact that Israel is never going to give up their nuclear weapons, neither are America, thats a fact. And the fact that both India and Pakistan have nuclear weapons acts as a detterent. Neither would use them in fear of retribution. Israel is allowed to act in anyway that it sees fit disregarding civilian life and world opinion. If another country in the middle-east possesed nuclear power would Israel be able to do this? no
