Dunno if this is the right forum for this, but alot of people say how they formatted their comps/deleted something or whatnot... and need reposts of things, this should help out greatly. (if you use windows that is)
You can restore every file you have ever had on your computer under normal circumstances. Unless you are running a special (and expensive) file sanitation software, every file will be accessable using this, no matter how long ago you deleted it, if it has been formatted, etc.
You run this software, (it takes a fucking long time) but then it shows you a directory structure that has all the folders and files on your computer from whatever time you selected. It is a bit technical I guess, but it works great and can save alot of time getting things back.

GetDataBack For NTFS Partition
GetDataBack For FAT32 Partition
Do a google search to determine if you are on NTFS or FAT32.
Yeah its not freeware but most people can get around that if they try, I will not go into that though... but this software works great and I hope it helps anyone that loses everything.
