She's just another individual that translated it to her own understanding. Even though many of those words are open to translation. Especially when dealing with dead languages like old Hebrew, Aramaic, classic Greek and thensome...

As for the bible itself, some may see it as complete fiction, some as a historical source, some as the word of God, others just an ensemble of philosophical teachings, or some as a set of moral ideals for people to follow. It just depends on the person's upbringing, background, or experiences he's been through.

Interesting article though.

By the way, you just opened Pandora's Box, Masta. lol

I know :D
It's just interesting how some people believe in the bible taking every single word, analyzing it and living it. It's like that for a lot of time and then it turns out that the translation was probably wrong and it means something totally different. There's still probably unbelievable amount of things twisted there.

For the atheists it also should be somewhat interesting since the Bible itself is a very important, good old book even if you consider it to be a total bullcrap.
Even back in the days when I didn't care about religions I thought that it's entertaining.

"The first sentence should now read 'in the beginning God separated the Heaven and the Earth.' "

I'm putting the fix-up in all my Bibles now. Finally, I can believe in the literal truth of Genesis!

Me (on phone)- "Hello, can I speak to Richard Dawkins. Rich, have you heard the Good News?"

As dumb as this is.....

You have to be quite an idiot to begin with...but...doesn't this make the story of the bible just a tiny tiny bit more acceptable, for those dumb people. Now people can disregard alllllll the evidence that shows the Earth is a lot older than what the bible says. I guess they kind of disrearded it anyway and said god made it that way, so nevermind.

Just seems like more religious people nowadays are taking steps to make their religion more acceptable and not so psycho. Wish the mormons would do it too but you can't win em all.
